- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees are $30 half hour and $50 an hour. I do offer a 20% discount to students committing and paying 10 lessons in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first meeting on line, text, or phone, I briefly explain what is expected: Masks Distancing Chat about expected practice time: beginner, student has studied before, and professional. With exceptions of course, I plan on regular weekly lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Private tutor in piano and organ in London, Montreal, Toronto, White Plains, and Rochester Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music, London. Piano teaching methods for children, older students and adults. Taught music theory in private boys school one year in Croydon, England One year at the Manhattan School of Music, towards Bach. Mus. in Piano Performance Two years toward Masters Degree in Organ with Russell Sanders One year McGill University toward Master Degree Organ with John Grew Bach of Music degree Eastman School of Music with Barry Snyder in Piano Performance
