I am a passionate, devoted and creative Caterer and Chef. I am inspired by Rick Bayless and Jacques Pèpin and many more world's great Chefs. I am a foodie which lets me to execute to the best taste and presentation. Working with my costumers and bringing a delicious variety of cuisines to theirs table make my passion grow...First and foremost I would customized it to my clients taste and preference as well as I would offer healthy, light and beautifully presented dishes.

I would like to thank Jolanta for her great efforts in catering our few events. The first experience was when we had a backyard party with 7 adults and 5 kids. Jolanta promptly responded to all our inquiries. She would spend time patiently explaining the different food combinations, in addition to elaborating on their ingredients. Her attentive and pleasant personality made the process smooth and seamless. She even sent us her menu with pictures of each dish included. She is a very talented caterer, and is very creative! She prepares different types of cuisine from a variety of cultures. Our guests were very impressed with her Mexican tacos, and her coleslaw was delicious! The kids loved her Spanish rice with beans and her octopus salad was phenomenal. My husband and I are very picky eaters. Nevertheless, we were impressed! In addition, to the delicious taste, the foods presentation was an art form! You look at the food and you want to eat it with your eyes. We received so many compliments from our guests. Our second experience was when Jolanta was catering my son's birthday party. We were not disappointed as well! Variety of salads and snacks, a lot of healthy choices for kids and adults made a truly enjoyable evening for both kids and adults. We are always impressed with her ideas about food. She is working with different types of cuisine: American, French, Eastern European, Indian, Italian, Latin American! Finally - great quality food, excellent presentation and professionalism. We will definitely be hiring Jolanta to cater our future parties.

Very professional, devoted and passionate about world cuisine, full stack Chef -- delicious food served in a beautiful way that lets you enjoy the meal. At the last party, Jay served dishes from Mediterranean kitchen through Italian kitchen and finished with East European one. She customized all dishes to our taste and needs. What else you would want to please all guests? Thank you Jay for great job.

Jolanta of redpoppy effortlessly prepared and served our fifty guests homemade dishes representing a wide variety of cuisines--classic american, italian and indian, all expertly prepared, seasoned and as beautiful to look at as they tasted.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Technically speaking I need to get to know client's needs so I can do my job 100%. I pay attention to the details and listen carefully so I may execute the final product.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have completed Food Management Course and Event Planner. Back in Europe, I completed Bachelor's degree in Business and Management. Moreover, I am self-taught and self- motivated individual with a deep passion for bringing delicious food to everyone's table. All the above got me into restaurant field and my latest job was in Indian fine dining restaurant in Oyster Bay, LI as a Sous Chef. I have hosted a big number of private parties, birthday, baby showers, graduation, bridal showers. I am also proud to work with celebrities as well. Cooking is an Art.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    As probably many of us in this field, first we have cooked for our families, friends, for any occasions. And everyone loved the food! That is how I got inspired apart form a passion for cooking traditional European food as well as national.
