Introduction: I am an experienced therapist, trained in family work, who is able to work and help families and couples who have lost touch with each other. I am very empathetic, inquisitive, interactive and deeply caring. I ask a lot of questions while I help you reach deep inside where the hurt is hidden. This hurt can turn to anger, to pain, to disconnect, to lack of communication and to separation. Communication tools will be explored as intimacy is often affected by behaviors such as distance and withdrawal. Relationships, be it with a spouse or a child, will be explored using a three-generational model to connect to one's roots, culture and heritage. Anxiety and depression are the first signs that might draw you to counseling. I hope that through our time together, meaning our therapeutic relationship and the work we will decide to do together, your pain will lessen and you will know how to better assess your inner strengths. I also speak fluent French, and am sensitive to cultural differences.
