- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing - My pricing is itemized and transparent. You will know how much you are paying for every piece of fabric and flower that way you can add and remove items from the invoice based on your comfort zone Fees - $500 non-refundable deposit for securing the date. Balance is due in installments that is convenient to you. Final 10% of payment is due on the event day. Discounts - Trust me, you always get what you pay for. If you ask me for a discount on my work, sure I'll give you one since you asked. But behind the scenes, I'll have to cut some corners to makeup for the discount I offered you...and quality is one thing I really really...really don't want to compromise on. So please do yourself and me a favor and do not ask for discounts. I promise you - I charge a fair and reasonable price for all my creativity and work. I also promise you - I ALWAYS provide more than what I promise. A decorator's eye always find an exposed pole that can be covered in fabric or an extra table without a linen or an unaccounted for entrance door that could be spruced up with a floral garland . I don't charge you for the extra decor I bring in . Isn't that a form of discount? :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-You share your vision or color scheme or theme of your event over an email or text -I create a rough design document with photos of my vision for your event with a price quote -Discuss over chat/email/phone about your requirements in further detail -You put down a deposit to secure the date -We go back and forth on the document with ideas and designs. -I visit the venue with you and go over details on design proposal -Final rsvp and guest count 2 weeks before the event -Payments are made in periodic installments -Constantly in touch with the customer throughout the process -Final 10% payment dur on event day
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
200+ events, 7 years of event experience creating events for everybody from my neighbor to celebrities and big corporates.
