Unfortunately 518 Handyman never kept our appointment. We rescheduled to accommodate a slight scope of work change (to ensure my kitchen slab would not be damaged during the removal of a cabinet to accommodate my new dishwasher). I was originally hopeful that the job would be completed professionally as they were taking care to not damage my countertop, however they never showed to the rescheduled appointment (which I left work early/waited for some time for them to never show). Things happen & when he said he had vehicle issues, I was OK to reschedule again, especially when he promised to fit me in that week for the inconvenience. However, he failed to respond & never made the appointment to actually complete the job.
Ghosting is weird (can’t say I’ve ever had that happen with a contractor). As a bare minimum, I would expect open communication, especially in a professional context. I still do not have my dishwasher installed & am now scrambling to find a replacement contractor.
