FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We keep our pricing as basic and affordable as possible. We have a set price for a structural inspection that covers most homes. We charge additional for multi-family homes due to the multiple heating, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances that are involved. We may add a small surcharge for very old homes (130+ years), or for very large homes (3000+ Sq Ft). We have one set price for each of the most common ancillary services such as Radon testing, Termite inspections, Well Flow, and Water Quality testing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Home inspectors in New York are required attend 24 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain their license. Additionally, maintaining my independent certifications for Home Inspection, Mold, Radon, Well Performance, Energy Loss, Wood Destroying Insects, and others require periodic education as well.
