- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Online tutoring: $100/hr for weekly sessions. Book two or more virtual sessions per week and receive a 20% discount ($80/hr).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make math more RELATABLE! Determine student's level of understanding, i.e. can they explain how they got their answer? Make sure they understand the basics before building up to more challenging problems, and provide helpful hints & tricks to remembering various theorems/rules along the way. For SAT test prep, I provide students with math practice tests (which they can complete on their own time), and then we keep track of the students' strengths and work on what they need to improve, i.e. time management or using test-prep techniques.
