Having written thousands of resumes for people from all walks of life for almost 20 years now, I enjoy the satisfaction of being able to help people uncover their true talents and bring their success stories to life on paper.
One of the biggest obstacles my clients encounter is after the resume work is done, and interviews are rolling in. Interviewing is nerve wracking, and most of my clients have trouble properly positioning their skills and experience to sell themselves to potential employers. During my interview prep sessions, I teach my clients how to present themselves in the best light, create a "30 second elevator pitch" to answer that age old question: tell me about yourself, and ultimately how to sell themselves and land the job.

I worked with Chris to update my resume since it had not seriously been updated in about eight years. I knew it was time to call in the pros. I am happy to say that Chris exceeded all my expectations.
The first reason I picked Chris over the others was because of his background in the software industry. I am and software engineer and I needed to attract the right crowd. Chris had the knowledge to get the job done and his pricing was right in line with everyone else that did not have his skill set.
The other point the at impressed me was that he scheduled a phone screening very quickly. When you are looking for work, it is nice to know that someone is paying attention and is looking out for your best interest. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on a flat fee for each project, depending on the services the client chooses, such as resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile enhancement, interview coaching / preparation, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With all new clients, I first have an intake session via phone to gather information regarding the client's current status, goals, and areas of expertise. Then, I review the client's current resume, and circle back with questions based on the information provided, so I can draw out the content that will highlight accomplishments and results from the work they have done. It's important in today's market to build a resume that shows achievements, and not just responsibilities, as this is what sets candidates apart from their competition.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience as a recruiter, and understand what corporate recruiters, and hiring managers look for when reviewing resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and cover letters. I also know how to utilize the right key words so resumes will be ranked higher, and attract more attention, when submitted into Applicant Tracking Systems, and being searched on LinkedIn/ Job Boards, etc.
