I loved Niema. I hosted a breakfast at my house for out of town family and friends on a Sunday following a family wedding. Niema was so great about calling and emailing me back. She was always open to my ideas and what I wanted for my party. Niema was also very patient, I changed my drop off time a couple of times and she rolled with it. She came to my house the week before with a contract and we talked about the plan. She only took half of the money and we paid her the rest when she dropped it off. The food was basic breakfast food... pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, banana bread and fruit. It was DELICIOUS!! Everything was hot and ready to go!! My family was so impressed and I was complimented on how lovely everything was. All of the food was perfect...I had more than enough and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The fruit platter was stunning and so great tasting! I also loved how the bacon and sausage were drained and not sitting in the grease. I passed out Niema's card to many people and I hope my review helps generate a lot of business for her in the future. I can't say enough how much time and energy Niema saved me and I was actually able to enjoy my own party!

Wedding planning is stressful, especially when you live 7 hours away from your venue. Before I hired Gabby, I spent a lot lof time wedding planning under extreme stress. If I'd been thinking, I would have just hired Gabby from the start. Instead, I hired her when I was overwhelmed at the idea of being the point person and the bride at my own wedding. She saved me! Who will put out the flowers? Gabby! Who will coordinate vendor arrival times? Gabby! What will make the wedding ceremony look just right? Ask Gabby! Who will clean up after the wedding? Gabby! The list goes on, but I must say that picking Gabby and After 5 Events as my wedding coordinator was one of my better decisions. Gabby is attentive, experienced, hires excellent interns, and she is enthusiastic. She's also creative, has an eye for aesthetics, and she rocks at making sure that your stress levels remain low! I wish I'd hired her before I'd done so much on my own, but I'm glad I got her when I did!

I can’t say enough about how great Full Swing Sound was. We looked for a long time to find the right DJ, and after we with with Jim we knew we were in good hands. He was incredibly helpful in the planning process, and gave great advice. The night of our wedding, we got soooo many compliments from the guests about how good the music was. We also had the photobooth, which was a big hit with everyone. They really exceeded my expectations, and I strongly encourage anyone to hire them for their wedding! Thank you!

Cynthia went above and beyond for me as my florist for my bridal shower and wedding day. Her knowledge of flowers is extensive and she is extremely creative when suggesting arrangements. Her own personal garden is an oasis, and she works with you very one on one personally during the planning process. We literally sat in her garden and dreamed up the vision I had for my special day. Not something I would have experienced at a chain flower shop where you are just another bride to them. She is very well connected, and if it is something you want, she will bend over backwards to get it for you. Very responsive to messages or questions. I was worried that the florals would not fit in my budget, she worked with my mom and I to create our vision for the right amount of money. She was very honest and transparent with why it would cost a certain amount, it genuinely helped us make decisions. A co-worker spent $2500 on her flowers, I spent a fraction and there wasn't a difference in quality or prevalence of flowers at my event. The day of my wedding she delivered to THREE different places, boutonnieres for the men, corsages and bouquets for the women, and mason jars with shepherd hooks (which she let me rent from her, one less thing to worry about) flowers for the cake, and other flowers for the venue which was 45 minutes away from the other two drop offs. She was prompt and you can tell she truly loves what she does!! I can't wait for my baby shower in April to use her services again for centerpieces! I have absolutely NO hesitation in saying go with her, you will NOT be disappointed!

Three Brothers Catered my wife and I wedding reception. The service staff were very professional and welcoming. Our food display was absolutely beautiful, especially the cheese tray which was served on a old rustic redwood plank. We highly recommend Three Brothers!

Joanne helped me with the decorations of my December wedding. I needed professional help in decorating a huge empty reception hall area. I knew that she would be a good fit for the job I was looking for, after reading her introduction pamphlet via Thumbtack. I know she offers a whole range of wedding-related services (from rentals to full wedding coordination), however the service I used was only decoration so my review will be speaking to that part. My review is that she (and her team) was amazingly creative and committed to the task, willing to go all the way to meet my requests and even beyond expectations. Our reception area turned out to be really really beautiful, I was very happy with how it looked, and a lot of people commented to me that the room looked very lovely and beautiful. 5 stars with no doubt! :) Speaking more in depth and about the process - we had a short time planning the wedding and had hired her only 3 months prior to our wedding. She was fast in terms of getting into the action. In total I think we met about 3-4 times in person (discussing, planning, trying things around), had many email/Pinterest communications in between as well. In terms of design, I think I had specific things I wanted particular for my wedding and I wanted to do some part of the decorations myself (wanted to do some DIY), so we had to work it out so that everything goes smoothly together. My theme was not simple (not just one-color theme), but after seeing my Pinterest pins and photos I sent her, I think she got a spot-on sense of what I was hoping for in my head. I liked and appreciated that she was very flexible, and was willing to hear me and match the style I was explaining to her. And she made it come true in an even more beautiful way than I imagined. We actually had a session in which she actually put together and showed a sample centerpiece to us - this was very helpful for me, to actually see the real version of what we had been discussing. In terms of communication, she and I used Pinterest a lot to discuss what style/design we were talking about, and this was helpful because it lets us talk in pictures (it is really hard to explain a design with just words). She was prompt and proactive in communicating with me. Plus, I also appreciated that she was willing to contact and speak directly with many other parties involved on behalf of me (e.g., the church personnel, the caterer), as I had been taxed in terms of my time and resources. She has much experience and she seems to know her way around. She and the team is also amazing in terms of how they make everything "work". We had the reception hall available to be decorated within less than 24 hours of the day, and she and her crew came and did everything to transform the place overnight. She also has a plenty of things that you need for a wedding (props, gadgets, anything) and she was able to let me rent it right away when I realized that I needed X and Y like 2 days before the wedding. If you ask her and chances are she may have it available for you to borrow. There are only a couple things that I thought could be improved. Although overall Joanne was very flexible and amenable to work with my budget, I do think in retrospect that it would have been nicer to have a discussion right at the beginning about the cost estimate (the breakdown and total, quotes of individual components) so that I would not have to worry further down about meeting the budget. Overall I am really happy and lucky to have worked with Joanne, who made everything beautiful for my wedding. She has amazing talent, passion, commitment to her work, and is willing to go all the way to work wonders!

    We booked Beamin' Sounds Entertainment for DJ services for both our wedding ceremony and reception. Let me tell you, we could not have been more fortunate than to make that initial call to them. Brent, the owner of Beamin' Sounds was our DJ. We met with him four or five times to plan ALL details of our wedding. He was not only a DJ but also a wedding planner, providing us with full ceremony and reception agendas/itineraries, copies of the ceremony music for our rehearsal, and so much more. He adjusted my train and veil before walking down the aisle with my dad, and kept the party going the ENTIRE NIGHT (from 5:00 - midnight!) and everyone on the dance floor. The flow of the reception was perfect, thanks to him, as everything was timed perfect and no one was ever just sitting, waiting for the next event or dance. There was always something going on. He brought so much personality and energy to our wedding. I must say, I truly miss having meetings with him and seeing him, because he made us feel like family. Do not regret your choice of DJ's for your wedding, the music affects your day more than you know, and Beamin' Sounds will not let you regret your choice on your big day. I even had a problem with another vendor (unfortunately) that did not perform their service up to quality and was a BIG problem at our wedding, and Brent went out of his way to write a letter and talk to the owner of this other vendor to support me in my claims on his own time- he was so helpful and supportive when I was dealing with a very, very disappointing aspect of our big day. Worth every penny, as you get not only get a DJ, but also a wedding planner, and a friend! Beamin' Sounds MADE our wedding day what it was.

    The best decision we made when planning our reception was to hire Molly with Anchor Events. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a beautiful and stress-free reception. Molly was always very responsive, professional, flexible throughout the planning process and had great suggestions to fit our budget. She created perfect centerpieces and decorations for the reception that were better than we could have imagined. She wrangled all our vendors with ease to ensure they were all on time and on the same page about the day's agenda. She even ran interference for us when a vendor was causing stress and got us drinks at our reception!       My parents and I hired Andrea in June 2010 to serve as our Planner/Event Coordinator for my June 2011 wedding. When working with Andrea you can tell that she is very skilled and seasoned professional. She really took much of the stress out of planning the wedding. She prepared timelines and checklists to keep our planning on track and sent these by email. She was only an email away if we had any questions. Andrea has worked with many WNY wedding vendors and gave us recommendations based on her experience. She really helped us achieve the overall look and feel we were envisioning for the wedding day with her event planning experience and by pointing us to top-notch vendors and service providers that delivered our vision. Wedding day schedules were sent to all of the vendors as to where and when things had to be in place, and Andrea made sure every vendor adhered to the schedule. On the rehearsal day and wedding day she and her team made sure that everything ran smoothly and had every detail attended to. We couldn't have been more pleased with the results.
