Lacey Rose Yoga

Introduction: I have a passion for creating a space for those who have been marginalized by larger society and those who may feel intimidated walking into a regular yoga class. Unlike many others offering similar services, I am especially sensitive to the needs of my clients on both a physical and emotional level. I use affirming language in my classes in order to decolonize yoga industry standards. I make sure all feel welcome and challenged to the best of their individual abilities. I love spreading the joy that yoga brings. As a queer-identified woman who has struggled with mental illness, it was challenging for me to find a sense of peace, centeredness, and belonging. Yoga has been a way for me to engage in meaningful self-care and spiritual growth. Through my teaching, I find that others have found the teachings as a method of self-empowerment and growth as well. Teaching gives me purpose.
