I highly recommend Berry's Home Improvements Handyman Services, I would refer him to anyone in a minute, I hired Berrys' because our shower faucet was leaking and needed to be repaired. This Handyman is very prompt and very friendly. The work he did turned out perfect.
Jerome was great. Excellent handyman with a wide variety of skills from furniture assembly to lighting installation.
Ray, did an excellent job assembling furniture, hanging objects, and repairing a closet. He is prompt, courteous and has a background that can handle most of your handyman needs. We will definitely use Ray on future projects.
Varian was awesome! Not only did he install my new A/C but he even picked it up from Lowe's for me and brought it to my apartment. He came on short notice right when he said he would and finished the job in 10-15 minutes. I'm feeling much cooler already.
All around great experience. Arrived early, got right to the job at hand, and completed in an hour. Would definitely use Handyman Mel again!!
Ackthba is very professional and skilled. He was a huge help and took the time to get the job done right. I would gladly hire him again for future jobs.

Wonderful handyman! Pierre was very patient and assembled two other pieces we hadn't discussed before. Highly recommend him and will call him next time I need some help!
Clearly a very experienced handyman and a nice guy - did a great job mounting my TV in a quick and professional fashion. Would highly recommend.
I am a busy physician and mother of 3 living in Philly. When the refrigerator broke in my rental apt in NYC, Robert came to my rescue! He contacted me in less than 1 hr of my request and met with my tenant that evening. He explained everything in detail to me including his very reasonable fees. I own 5 rental properties and I have never met a more intelligent, kind, and HONEST handyman. I have passed his info to my friends in NYC and give him the highest recommendation possible!
I had a great experience working with Cliff! He responded to my quote quickly and was able to come out the same day, at whatever time was best for me. He was right on time (even early!) and worked quickly to get the work done in the time that he had quoted me. Cliff is super nice and friendly, which makes a big difference when you're letting someone into your home! He clearly loves what he does and making his clients happy. I would definitely recommend Cliff to anyone looking for a handyman in NYC!
Jorge changed out a light fixture in our dining room. He always stayed in contact before the job and he showed up on time, worked quickly and cleanly and was very friendly. We especially appreciated that he was able to come on a Saturday. I would definitely recommend him for handyman projects.
He did a great AND quick job mounting my two TVs (65" and 45") and I will definitely be hiring him for future handyman work around my apartment.
Got two words: Hire Paul! He's professional, does great quality work, and makes sure you are satisfied. His handyman skills are excellent and he charges very fairly for his work.
Petey is a complete pleasure to work with. He was friendly yet professional, quick and efficient, and very thorough and courteous. I had a variety of projects from hanging large framed photographs, repairing and assembling furniture, assembling a baby furnishings. He is my new handyman!
I reached out to Mike this morning and he made it by our place after his other job finished today. We texted, I sent some photos of our leaking pipe under our kitchen sink and by tonight I have a new pipe that is perfect and new! He gave me a bid, picked up what he needed and told me what that would be additional to his fee for the supplies for the work. Very reasonable by the way. He texted me along the way when the subway was stopped due to police action and kept me posted on his ETA. He was friendly and professional, my dog liked him too! He went to work and knew exactly what he was doing. (My husband watched intently and asked questions...he likes to learn new things.) Everything was done professionally, he cleaned up, tested the pipe and was on his way. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone who needs work done around their apartment or home. He is a real gem and I am thrilled we found our 'handyman'. I can't wait to get other things done!!
Extremely collaborative and professional with great attention to detail. Also has an artistic eye so he's much more than a typical handyman. I had previously hired an interior decorator who sketched out a photo gallery with 2 rows of 8 frames. It turns out she measured incorrectly, and Abe was able to suggest something that was much better. Abe worked efficiently - much faster than I expected or was quoted by multiple people. He even offered to go to a specialty store to get the right hardware ahead of the job. I found the rate to be reasonable, and I'm really happy with the job. Plus, he's a very pleasant person. Will definitely use again.
My partner and I just moved to NJ from NC and had quite a bit of repairs and upgrades we needed to complete on the new home we purchased. One such upgrade was venting the dryer. This home was built in 1892 so needless to say, the original architectural plan did not include a dryer. The previous owners installed a gas line - but where the gas line had to run to attach to the kitchen stove, made for a really poor location in the basement in regards to venting the dryer. Before Nick came, he let me know a price for a best case scenario, which I appreciated because had he named a price over my budget, it would have given us both the opportunity to cancel the estimate so as not to waste time. Nick arrived on-time for the estimate and at first it was pretty tricky to find a solution for venting the dryer without completely tearing up the ceiling and walls. Nick was persistent in finding though and was able to devise a plan of going through an old nonfunctional window that was hidden and covered. I hired him to complete the dryer venting and also uncap the gas line and install a hose in preparation for the dryer installation. On the day of the project, Nick arrived on time (7:30am on a Saturday) It took him about 2.5 hours to complete everything. He did a fantastic job. One strength I want to highlight is that Nick not only gets the job done, and does it well, but also takes pride in the aesthetics of his work. He could have easily vented the dryer in a way that exposed the pipe all the way along the ceiling and through the window, but instead he figured out a way to fish it under the sheet rock for a cleaner look. He also cleaned his work space completely - which I have found to be rare for contractors in this area. I have had many contractors who were ready to walk out the door without cleaning up their mess and would have done so had I not asked them to clean up before they go. I also want to highlight that I had a sewage pipe issue in the basement prior to his dryer venting project. Nick also does plumbing so I called him at 4pm and he was at my house by 8pm. People who who have hired folks for sewage pipe leaks know that cleaning up the sewage is not part of the job. Nick was willing to clean and sanitize on top of snaking the pipes and clearing them of clogs for a reasonable price. Nick has been great to work with and does great work. I have already hired him to take care of some other projects around the house (installing a shower door, clearing debris in the backyard). Glad we found a go-to handyman for our new home!
I'm glad I hired Rick to work on my projects (assemble and install two ceiling fans, replace faucet, medicine cabinet and light in the bathroom. He used his professional judgement on a few of the items rather than just getting the job done because I asked. Turns out my entire apartment is jerry-rigged and Rick spent several more hours here than he had planned. I'm glad Rick took his time to do it right. I was skeptical hiring a handyman here in NYC, but Rick was great and I'd definitely hire him again in the future.
I hired Tyler to mount my TV and he did it in less than an hour. With the left over time he also managed to help me install my broom rack, panoramic canvas, and hanging shelf. What I value most about Tyler is that he is extremely efficient, reliable and honest. Since then, Tyler has been my go-to handyman, and I cannot recommend him enough.
