The Pantaleoncatering was one of three companies I consider to cater an event for my dad's 71th birthday party. I requested a quote for a cater dinner of 15 people. Chef Kevin & Gina handle everything from A to Z. All requests and changes were handled very quickly the day of the event they arrived right on time and exceeded all expectations. The food was amazing people are still talking about the oxtail, the fried pork, conch and Black rice from the Caribbean menu. The taste of the food brought memories of when I was living in the Caribbean and my mother cooking Sunday dinner meal. if you have an event in the Long Island area I would definitely recommend using Pantaleoncatering. I celebrated my husband 55th birthday and contacted the Pantaleon catering service. Gina and Kevin did an outstanding job with every food tray. I order steak, beef, chicken enchilada beans and rice all were delicious plus all the fixings were perfect. The presentation of food was so on point. All my guess were surprised how delicious the food was. They loved it chef Gina is a professional. She's very courteous and her customer service skills are Class A! We had a funeral reception last month for which we hired Pantaleon catering to prepare an American cuisine for 250 people. Everything turned out very professional. The food was tasty and the staff very friendly and the chef was wonderful. The food was served buffet style. We rented plates and silverware for the occasion. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We at Pantaleon catering first find out what the occasion or the theme of the event is, so we can bring out the best impressions. How many people are going to be at the event. What type of meal will be served what time it will start and how long it will last what size of staff will be required and whatever we could do to give the customer a great and satisfying experience. The customer is required 50% of the agreed upon fees beforehand and the balance on the day of completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As the owner of Pantaleon Catering I'm a physician assistant. I have a passion for cooking I was cooking since I was 8 years old. I opened this company five years ago. have 15 licensed chefs who work with me. The company has a food permit and I have a chef license.
