FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every ceremony is uniquely tailored to reflect your story, values, and traditions. Because each couple’s vision is different, pricing varies based on the level of personalization, the type of ceremony (Jewish, interfaith, or secular), planning sessions, and location. A detailed breakdown is provided upfront with no hidden fees, and standard packages typically include preparation meetings, custom ceremony design, and the legal filing of your marriage license. Complimentary initial consultations are offered to discuss your vision and provide a transparent, personalized quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working together is an open, collaborative journey designed to make the ceremony the heart of your wedding day: We Connect: An informal video or phone chat to learn about each other, your relationship, and what matters most to you both. We Collaborate: We dive into the details—discussing rituals, family involvement, readings, and how to blend traditions comfortably. We Craft: I write a custom ceremony draft for your review. We edit together until every part feels completely right. We Celebrate: On your wedding day, I take care of the legal paperwork and lead a calm, joyful, and heartfelt ceremony so you can focus entirely on each other."
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rabbinic Ordination (Semikha): Formal graduate-level education in Jewish law, tradition, and wedding liturgy. Ritual & Lifecycle Training: Extensive study in crafting meaningful ceremonies, blending traditions for interfaith couples, and adapting historical customs to contemporary celebrations. Legal Officiant Licensing: Authorized to solemnize marriages and legally execute civil marriage documentation.
