FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily kitchen and bath remodels and recently concrete counter tops. Many clients will ask us back for other work such as additions, decks and general carpentry. Established clients can request handyman services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
References and insurance verification. Not all contractors offer references or proof of insurance up front. But any qualified considerations should be able to provide the names of a few past clients and insurance certificates. Call at least 3 references and ask how their remodel went, was it on time, within budget and deliver what they expected. Think about what you would be most concerned about and ask about that. Workers Compensation insurance is required by our State to cover any employee, liability insurance is just a real good idea for your protection. Ask for an insurance certificate to be issued to you and call the agent listed to verify coverage before they start to work. A contractor that works without insurance coverage is assigning all risks to you without your consent. Should an uninsured worker become injured you will be ultimately responsible for his/her medical and disability expenses.
