BM in music from Sam Houston State University. Graduate Studies at Texas Southern Univ. Grad Studies at Univ. of North Texas BMI Jazz Composer Workshop
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have played music since i was a youngster. i had great teachers including a wonderful mentor in HS, Conrad O. Johnson, the subject of the 2010 documentary movie THUNDERSOUL. I have been a "pro" since i was a teenager. Got my degree in music. Moved to New York. I have been, performing, recording, composing and teaching ever since.
