Alycia was my first-ever trainer, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, she made everything feel comfortable and approachable, always arriving right on time with a workout plan tailored specifically to my needs.
One of the biggest perks is that she’s a mobile trainer—she comes right to me, which makes training incredibly convenient and removes all the usual excuses. She’s also flexible, modifying workouts based on how I’m feeling that day.
On top of that, her knowledge really shines through. She explains the purpose behind each exercise, helps correct form, and makes sure I’m progressing safely and confidently.

I started working with Alycia in June of 2024. It has been a year and in that time, I’ve lost about 20 pounds. I had lost weight from walking every day but then plateaued so I wanted to incorporate strength training. I found Alycia on thumbtack. It was super convenient working with Alycia as she was able to come to my house. She was always on time and never had to cancel. She helped me make sure I was gradually pushing myself but always in a safe way - correcting my form so I was doing it effectively and safely (something I feel I didn’t get in group workout classes). My strength and stamina have increased, along with the weight loss. I was able to increase the amount of weights I could do and the amount of reps. She would also customize workouts based on moves I liked / didn’t like, which made the workouts enjoyable too. I highly recommend her!

One of the best decisions that I have ever made in my life is when I started working out with Alycia back in March 2025. Alycia has so much passion and knowledge about training. I had started from zero, knowing minimal information on working out, being terrified of starting to lift, but having dreams of being able to do it and build muscle. I was never the athletic type growing up and could never stay consistent in the gym by myself. Working with a trainer like her definitely keeps me consistent, but only because Alycia provides such a safe space that you feel you could show up in honestly. When I’m having harder days, I tell her and she’ll push me just enough, if I feel like I can do more than what she’s pushing me to do, I let her know and we adjust the work out to be more of a challenge. A lot of my fears regarding lifting vanished with Alycia because she provided me with confidence and she believed in my capability. I have never once felt uncomfortable or scared to speak up if a workout was too hard for me either. Another big fear of mine was working with a trainer who treated working out like Boot Camp, but this could not be further from the case at all, Alycia and I talk our whole session. AND I can wholeheartedly and honestly say that it is because of Alycia that after eight months, I was finally able to squat my body weight! I really thought that was something that I would be doing in over a year. Watching my body change before my eyes, and feeling the difference in my brain is amazing and addictive and it only makes me look forward to our sessions every week. We even adjust workouts according to where I am in my menstrual cycle, which is beyond meaningful to me. From not being athletic, and having no consistency in the gym, to looking forward to our sessions every week. That’s a huge win in my book. Since I started working with Alycia, I have found that I now have better strength, better ability, better stamina, and better balance than I have had before.
She bases my exercises on my age, ability, strength, and disabilities. She starts me off on exercises at a level that I can tolerate, then builds me up to a level that makes me improve dramatically.
Alycia is a very good communicator. She explains the purpose of each exercise, and then makes sure that I perform them correctly.
