Introduction: My dinners differ from the various mobile meal services in several significant ways. My dinners are quite ample; portions are considerably larger than those served in mobile meal services. My dishes are more complex. I serve Pasta Puttanesca; Chicken Picatta; Shepherd's Pie, for instance. Dinners often include a homemade soup like Corn Chowder, Lentil Soup, or Pea Soup with Ham. I bake a variety of scrumptious desserts. My garden salads and fruit salads are packed with fresh ingredients. Rolls and breads are baked fresh, too. No powdered foods, mixes, or frozen foods are used. All my dishes are prepared from scratch. My dinner service is more like having a personal chef, than having the usual senior meal delivery service.
I love everything about my job! I have always loved cook books, and cooking. I love designing menus. I am happiest when I am in the kitchen all day. After a full day of cooking, I hit the road and visit my senior clientele, who are gems of folks. I love being welcomed into their homes. Honestly, I am lucky to be doing what I enjoy, and contributing personally to the well being of those who I respect.
