I don't believe in "one size fits all" training. The workouts I choose for you are based on your specific needs, body type, and capabilities. Lets face it we are all built differently and I can't prescribe the same workout routine for a 70 year old woman and a 26 year old man. With me you wont get fitness fads or cookie cutter exercises. I use real exercises to get the real results you want. Fitness is an essential part of my life. When I first began incorporating workouts into my daily routine, I instantly fell in love with the way I felt. Even though I have never been the fastest or strongest guy, at the end of a good training session I feel unstoppable. I believe that what you do in one aspect of your life will carry over into the rest of your life. Taking care of yourself physically will completely transform the way you live. My life is more fulfilling because of fitness, and sharing my passion with others to help them live to their best potential is the most enjoyable thing I can think of doing.

Glen has been a great trainer. I've seen progress while working with him and I'm glad to have someone knowledgeable helping me to achieve my goals. Glen provides a great balance between ensuring intense, high quality workouts that push your limits and being supportive when there are challenges.I would definitely recommend Glen and Knockout Fitness.

So far in our work together Glen has proven to be exactly what I had hoped for in a physical trainer. He's punctual, and his workout sessions are concise and intense; I always end the session feeling like I got some really meaningful work in. He's incredibly flexible with regards to creating a plan to suit each clients needs, so that I very much feel that he has a good sense of the best way for me to reach my own specific goals. I look forward to each of our sessions and am already seeing and feeling results.

The results since I started training with Glen have exceeded my expectations. He took the time to understand my objectives and then provided guidance in establishing incremental achievable goals. His knowledge as an experienced trainer combined with his nutritional expertise have been instrumental in my progress to date. My work requires frequent travel and Glen has been incredibly flexible to meet my schedule.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First, I perform an initial fitness and body composition assessment. Once we determine your starting point, we can discuss goals that are measureable and attainable within a certain timeframe. We'll discuss any health concerns or injuries you might have, so I can move forward with your training in the most effective and safe way possible. Even in a client who has training experience, I'll always put an emphasis on proper form and usually take a session or two in the beginning to further assess a new client's natural movement patterns.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I received my training and certification through the National Personal Training Institute of Ohio (NPTI). NPTI is a 600-hour program, equivalent to a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. The certification program consists of both lecture and practical application. Learning objectives include anatomy and physiology, nutrition, exercise programming and fitness assessments.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I have a passion for fitness and strongly believe that living a healthy life has everything to do with exercise and eating well. Before I began working out regularly, my diet and motivation were lacking, and I wasn't in very good shape. Once I decided to make some serious lifestyle changes, I discovered my love for fitness. Now, I want to share it with people to help them achieve greatness and live their best lives!
