Introduction
I've been working as a handyman and maintenance worker since 2017. During that time I've completed a wide variety of repairs and updates, including drywall repair, painting, vinyl plank flooring installs, apartment turnovers and trashouts, minor electrical and plumbing, woodworking and more. My primary focus is on interior and exterior painting. I aim to provide an affordable quality handyman service, and I'd love to hear about your next project!

Nick was able to come in and do a difficult dishwasher install. He ended up having to run new electric and rerouting the waterline to make it fit. Nick was able to do all of this in a timely manner and was very helpful the whole time.

Details: Built-in under-the-counter (traditional) • Yes, there is access to both an outlet and a drain • Yes, but I would like guidance from the professional • Home

Nick was amazing. We wanted to put our house on the market but needed general repair and updated. We the owners changed our projects in early stages of quote and he was very understanding as we informed him of our budget. We did notice Nick is a true professional and perfectionist. We appreciated that and his understanding of our needs. Nick's work consisted of skimming kitchen walls, mud room ceiling, mud room walls, kitchen ceiling and bathroom walls. He shiplap a bathroom wall, updated outlets (bathroom), new toilet, bathroom sink faucet, bathroom sink water lines and new bathtub/shower surrounding. New kitchen sink and faucet updated. Painted mud room. Primed each wall and ceiling after skimming. Power Sprayed entire house and detached garage roof. Corrected door frame entrance to third bedroom that was damaged. Removed old wallpaper in bathroom (pretty bad) We can't thank Nick enough for his workmanship.

Details: A full day (Complex or long-term projects) • Repairs • Installation • Painting • Bathroom • Bedroom • Deck or porch • Walls (inside) • Doors • Plumbing • Home

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For most handyman work I charge an hourly rate of $60/hour, with a two hour minimum, and materials and sometimes mileage are at additional cost. I'm insured, and I have to travel up to an hour away for a lot of the work I do, so this minimum helps ensure that I make enough to cover costs and pay the bills. I try to work in an efficient manner to avoid racking up the time in these instances, but if the work you need done is something quick, I generally recommend bringing up any other repairs or updates you're interested in and I will take time to look at those and either fix or discuss an estimate with you while I'm there. For larger scale jobs, such as painting, flooring installs, and other similar tasks I rely on square footage measurements so I price those on a case by case basis.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to ask a lot of questions, and frequently I'll request photos of a prospective repair or project. Photos in particular can answer a lot of questions before I need to ask, and the more information I have, the more prepared I can be to give you an accurate estimate, and to complete a project efficiently.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been working in home repairs and maintenance for about 5 years now.
