Hello and thank you for your interest in training together! With over twenty years experience as a health coach, personal trainer and yoga teacher, I’ve helped people from all walks of life feel and look their best. Drawing from a broad range of training and education, I’m able to personalize a single session or develop and implement a strategic plan for those with longer-term goals. Incorporating an in-depth wellness assessment, strength training, flexibility/yoga and nutrition coaching, I help each client accomplish their health and fitness goals with a caring, compassionate, client-centered approach. I hold certifications from the American Council on Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), a degree in Sport & Exercise Studies, and am a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine’s (San Diego, CA) massage therapy program. Sessions are available at my private, cozy studio in Amesville, OH (located on a beautiful, 42-acre property), as well as in-home, outdoors, and on-line. If you are looking for someone that listens and can put together exactly the right program for you, you need to contact Chris. No matter what you goals are or where you are starting from Chris can help. I came to him with some physical limitations and really wasn't sure what I needed to start on the path to getting better; fortunately Chris knew. I would higly reccomend Chris for anyone but especially if you need extra help due to physical challenges of any magnitude. He is compassionate, kind and understands the needs of his clients.

Chris is an excellent personal trainer. He incorporated my goals and preferences into the training plan. He appropriately gauges the appropriateness and level of difficulty of each workout session. He adds new exercises to each session to keep things interesting. In sum, he provides a high value, personalized service.

Chris has an enthusiasm that is completely uplifting and contagious! He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. He leads by example, which I consider one of his best attributes. He focuses on the body (nutritionally AND physically) as well as the mind and spirit. Chris is all about the balance to create optimum health 😊

Personal training with Chris has had a wonderful impact on my life in the last 5 months. I've gained considerable strength, lost weight, improved my energy level, and now I fit into a smaller shirt and pants size. I've also improved my mobility and flexibility. My body feels amazing! Chris has a very extensive knowledge of training regimens and effectively blends principles of strength training with yoga and soft tissue mobilization. He was very responsive to my concerns about old pre-existing injuries (knee, ankle, shoulder, low back just to name a few) and offers many ways to alter exercises to be gentle on the body. He is very professional and respectful and does a great job of taking notes and tracking our sessions to optimize our time together. His private studio space has plenty of equipment for a vigorous workout without the hassle of going to/being in a large gym. I've worked with about 4-5 personal trainers off and on in the last 20 years, and I'm thrilled to have found Chris!
