Eric is an excellent electrician and an enthusiastic learner in the field, which makes him a great choice, despite the fact that he only has four years in the field. I first hired him to wire and install an outlet for our dryer. For this job, he gave me a list of materials to buy, giving me control of the materials cost. He finished in a timely manner and his work was clean and tidy. When he was done, we went down to inspect the work, and he fixed a stubborn nail that wouldn’t stay attached to the ceiling support. I also asked Eric for a quote on a lighting project that I wanted done in our entryway, foyer and dining room. Eric gave me a few quotes and left the decision as to how to proceed with my husband and me. Eric returned within a week to begin the project and was dedicated to doing the work well, despite several unexpected turns in the project. Each time he found a new problem, he accepted the challenge of finding a solution, consulting with my husband and me each time to make sure we were okay with any additional time or money needed to complete the project. For example, when he found that the space between our first story ceiling and second story floor was not up to code (there’s only six inches between the floors, instead of the typical 10-12 inches), Eric researched and found a recessed light fixture that would fit the space and didn’t cost much extra. Also, while he was adding a light switch to an existing switch box, he realized that the existing wiring was too old and too short to connect to the new switch without being a fire hazard. He was willing to rewire the old fixture at a fraction of his normal labor cost to make sure our house would be safe and the whole switch up to code. Again, when the job was complete, Eric explained his work and how it connected to the existing electrical wiring and panel. He gave me recommendations for future work to increase the safety of our home. All the information was very helpful and made me feel much more knowledgeable and secure about our new home and its electrical system. When we found a problem during our inspection of the completed job, he was willing to fix it and didn’t charge me extra for the labor. The only nit picky complaint I have is that a few things were patched up without as much care as I would have liked, leaving us with a bit of clean-up work. There were also a few times when he left certain things out that made our living spaces unsafe. Eric is very approachable, however, and willing to address and fix any of his clients’ concerns as he continues to improve his trade as an electrician. I would strongly recommend him for small electrical fixes as well as more involved projects.

We are extremely pleased with Barnes Sklare Remodeling and I would recommend them to anyone. Everyone involved in our project was totally professional, friendly, and concerned with our satisfaction. Chuck gave us the original estimate and he immediately impressed me by listening to our ideas and wishes rather than forcing his own on us as other contractors had tried to do. He was helpful with suggestions when we needed them but always kept our goals as his primary focus. Chris was the on-site guy and he bent over backwards to keep the disruptions to our home-life to a minimum. He also went above the call by volunteering to pick up the bigger pieces for us and was always available to answer a question or address our concerns. The crew protected our home and belongings by tenting off the bedroom every morning and cleaning up after themselves before they left each day. They stand behind their work and never hesitated for a second to correct a problem. Considering all the remodeling horror stories out there, this was a totally stress-free, relaxing project. And the results are exactly what we were hoping for. KUDOS on an outstanding job!

GM and staff went above and beyond to help us with our projects. He was eager to help us with our silly questions and many projects we have going on. He installed drainage, created a 30+ ton gravel driveway, installed over 600' of 4 rail wood fencing and excavated a 900' creek to prevent flooding. We highly recommend GM Landscape Construction and plan to use them again with any future projects.

Had Anthony do rough in of both Electrical and plumbing. He was willing to work with my difficult schedule and provided above average quality work. He also worked innovatively and was able to drastically reduce costs for me. You want someone who'll go the extra mile for you, and also protect you against your own bad decisions. Anthony will get it done, and done right.

We had a shower leak that damaged the ceiling in the kitchen. Jack was able to stop the leak in the shower due to bad grout/caulk. The ceiling needed to be patched, re textured and repainted. The damaged areas are now perfectly matched to the rest of the ceiling. Jack was very professional and organized. He took the time to protect the floors and furniture and clean up was 100%. Highly recommended!

John has done various jobs for me. Has helped me with small jobs and also large ones. He is very personal and absolutely meticulous in all ways. Always on time! Keeps work area clean, and his work... perfection! He built and office for me in my basement that had all kinds of bonus features added in, special lightings and great use of space. He has done some landscaping and is quite visionary. He will show you various options and my yard could have won an award with a pond, fire pit and many kinds of flowers and plants! If you're looking for a fabulous handyman, John is the man to call.

John did a great job. He cut down a large Norway spruce for me. Tricky job since wires were involved. I kept the wood from the trunk to burn in the fire pit. He cut pieces small enough for me to split. Yard was all cleaned up after he was done.

Matt does a wonderful job! We have worked with contractors before, and fired some. Matt and his group are always on time, do beautiful work and are very fair on pricing. It has been a pleasure. We are tackling a complete kitchen remodel and looking forward to it next. Will be working with this company for several more projects! We are grateful to have found him.

A huge thank you to my man, John Salvaggi and his new business, KoSa Construction. John, and his partner Drew, did an amazing job! Allison and I are so happy with how everything turned out. This picture is the fire door to the garage, and just 1 of 9 doors installed. John paid attention to all details and did not leave until making sure I was completely satisfied. They cleaned everything up, neatly stacked up all of the old doors, and cut up any old molding to make it easier for me to dispose of. Since several of the door frames were completely square, John saved me a ton of money by doing a little extra work and doing 5 of the doors with slab only. I get to return over $500 in pre hung doors. John is a genuinely great, caring, and honest person and I am so happy I went with him for this project. If KoSa keeps building this kind of rep. and word spreads, they are going to be booked out all the time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I highly recommend. John, again, thank you! We wish you the best of luck! Tell Drew the same. You better save a little time next week for NES like we discussed.
