After decades of avoiding sweating, the thought of starting an exercise program wasn't appealling but is very necessary. I found Mike at Pound for Pound to be the best possible trainer for me. He's very careful to make sure I'm doing my workout correctly while pushing me to stretch myself. He's attentive to me while I'm working out. I highly reccomend Pound for Pound and Mike Mercer as a personal trainer if you're new to working out with weights!

Needed some rehab from back surgery and shoulder surgery. He combines physical therapy as well as strength and flexibility for me. Only a short time but I have improved in how I feel in daily activities. He knows what each person needs. As others have stated, he is well prepared.

I have been hesitant about hiring a personal trainer because of negative experiences in the past. Michael has been just the opposite. He listened to my needs, and built a program to reach my fitness goals. The workouts are challenging, but don’t wreck me for the rest of the day. Very satisfied.
