I Will Marry You

Your wedding is YOUR day - I work very closely with couples to ensure the ceremony reflects what is most important and personal to you. I'm very spiritually based, but honor and respect all beliefs; I have officiated several ceremonies for couples who did not wish to have any mention of spirituality in their service. Your wedding day is a culmination of what you both bring into this union - your history, beliefs, and all you hold dear. Whether blending families, remembering loved ones who will not be present at your ceremony, or renewing vows you made that have deepened through years of togetherness, I make sure your ceremony is uniquely yours. I have performed a variety of weddings, from traditional to whimsical, from 10-minute services in-home to 1-hour services in independent churches, halls, and even an historic movie theater. I have incorporated Hand-Fasting (of course, I'm Celtic), Sand, African Blessings, Giving of the Roses, and many more rituals into ceremonies. I was ordained as a Wedding Officiant in 2014, and was ordained as a Reverend in 2019. Residing in Canton, I serve Stark, Summit, eastern Medina, eastern Wayne, and northern Tuscarawas counties. I so enjoy working with a myriad of individuals who all have a story! I'm both honored and blessed to facilitate the union of couples from all walks of life (including same-gender marriages), and am constantly reminded that love does indeed bring us to our best selves.
