FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Home Inspection pricing depends on the square feet and age of the house. All A-Pro Home Inspections include a 500-point inspection, including structural, roof, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance reports, plus a computerized foundation level survey, termite inspection, and 120 day guarantee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to take care of everything. We handle communication for the entire process of the home inspection, from scheduling with the sellers to ensuring that everybody involved gets everything needed in a timely fashion. Our job it to make this process as easy as possible for our clients. We also pride ourselves on the One on One time we take with all of our clients during and after the inspection. Personal service is our hallmark.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CHI and PHI certifications are actually NOT required before someone calls themselves a "home inspector," but they're very important. These certifications assure you that your inspector has undergone 300 or more hours of education and advanced training. You want to make sure your inspector is ISHI certified , as ISHI standards exceed ASHI standards in 14 vitally important ways. What are some things that are inspected under ISHI that are NOT with ASHI? Here are a few; the foundation, all doors and windows, installed and portable appliances, all lighting and outlets, and more.
