Midland Home Inspections

Introduction: Midland Home Inspectons is a professional home inspection company serving the greater Cincinnati real estate market. We require our inspectors to pass the National Home Inspector Exam® and become members of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI License#: 265014). Our inspectors participated in 147 hours of training provided by the American Home Inspector Training organization and are fully insured. All of our inspections adhere to the ASHI Standards of Practice and are licensed in the State of Ohio. We take time to do a full inspection, going over every inch of a home. We use a variety of tools, including FLIR® IR imaging, and a good amount of experience. It is our job to fully evaluate the property and find areas of concern or problems. We use compter-based reporting and will deliver your report on the same day as the inspection. We will inspect: Grounds and Landscaping: walkways, driveways, grading, drainage Exterior: siding, eves, soffits, fascias, doors, windows, foundation, receptacles, decks, porches, patios, steps, railings Roof: flashing, roof covering, valleys, vents, skylights, chimney Gutters and Downspouts Attic: trusses, rafters, joists, insulation, roof sheathing, vents Interior: walls, ceilings, trim, windows, fireplace, doors, steps, stairways, receptacles, fire and CO detectors, counters, cabinets, appliances, garage doors and automatic openers Basement and/or Crawlspace Plumbing: interior water supply and distribution, fixtures, faucets, drains, vent systems, water heater, sump pump Electrical: service drop, cables, raceways, main disconnects, grounding, panels, subpanels, conductors, overcurrent protection devices, GFCIs, light fixtures, receptacles, switches Heating and Air Conditioning Systems Working with home buyers and sellers to educate them on their existing or prospective new homes.
