Lyle did a really large painting project of over 11 rooms. He did a great job. He and Morris were Incredibly personable and pleasant. The project took quite a bit longer than anticipated, some of the time is attributed to late starts. Overall, very good experience with them. One of the most impressive is their willingness to move the furniture back to place even when they needed to put up a second coat. Would recommend anytime.Apr 7, 2019Verified
Mr. Benjamin did a very good paint job on our Deck. I would not discount that fact. My problem with Mr. Benjamin is, he started on Sunday, June 2nd and completed on Tuesday, June 4th. There was the possibility of rain on Wednesday morning June 5th. I had to request that the deck be protected from the rain. Mr. Benjamin complied by going to purchase some tarps. I had to request his return to retrieve them and replace ornamentation he had removed in order to paint. Another fly in my ointment was Mr. Benjamin under bidded the job. I increased his bid by $45 to help pay for additional paint and assist with the cost of the tarps. He stated to me he did not make any money on this job. Quite frankly, I did not appreciate his demeanor with me. He did not have anyone assisting him on this job. Therefore, I can certainly see why it took him 3 days to complete. When you are operating a business for 22 years, you certainly should be versed on how to bid your jobs, taking into consideration your labor, materials, etc. Although Mr. Benjamin's workmanship was very good, I would not hire him again.Jun 10, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We charge reasonable rates for quality craftmanship: by the job, by the hour, or by the square foot, our aim is to provide value, treat the customer fairly, and make them feel comfortable. Our by the square foot pricing ranges between $2.00 to $3.00 per square foot and reflects applying two coats of paint to all walls, ceilings, and trim including materials. Preparation is important, our prep includes; scraping, sanding, caulking, drywall / plaster repair and finish, filling of nail holes, etc.. Pride and attention to detail are essential in providing a great substrate for the application of a smooth, durable finish coat. We are not the cheapest, however, we offer exceptional return on investment for a quality product
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We visit the property to assess the scope of the work, we formulate a price quote, and we schedule the job upon acceptance of the quote. It's your project and we want to do all we can to understand what will make you happy before, during and after the project is completed, In doing so we welcome all avenues of communication, via text, phone, email, or in person, whatever helps you convey your wants, needs and wishes best. We look forward to working with you.
