FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up, I was always drawn to the outdoors. Some of my earliest memories are of watching my dad out in the garden, taking care of our yard with so much pride. I’d be right there with him, learning by his side. As I got older, I started helping out more and more—it just felt natural. I was obsessed with machines, especially mowers. I couldn’t wait to get on one myself, and as soon as I could, I started cutting lawns around the neighborhood. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a real passion. Over time, I found myself fascinated by waterscapes—ponds, waterfalls, anything with movement and flow. I began experimenting, building small features, learning as I went. One job led to another, and before I knew it, I was building full landscapes, from hardscapes to softscapes, turning everyday spaces into something special. What began as riding mowers with my dad turned into a career I love—and I bring that same care and pride into every job I take on.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When choosing a landscaping provider, look for someone who’s licensed, insured, and experienced with the kind of work you need. They should communicate clearly, show up on time, and provide transparent pricing with no surprises. A good landscaper will offer creative, custom solutions—not just cookie-cutter designs—and they’ll have a solid understanding of plants, materials, and what works best in your environment. Clean work, attention to detail, and strong client reviews are all signs you’re working with a pro. Bonus if they offer maintenance plans to keep your space looking great long after the job is done.
