- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a simple pricing structure based on the number of professional movers that handle your move, we charge by the hour. Unless you require packing supplies or have something that is generally deemed a specialty move (ie pool table, safe, piano, anything over 350 lbs is around the threshold) there are no other fees or charges aside from a modest $20.00 fuel surcharge for most local moves. Over 100 miles away there is a sliding scale for this. We do not have a trip charge or add a percentage for travel. We start the clock when we leave our facility and estimate the travel time back.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to provide an in person on location consultation to see what services the new client would benefit from most. Be it a full service pack and move or just the heavy furniture. We provide a number of services.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We specialize in antiques and fine furniture but we have been involved in a number corporate office moves, retail shops, relocation programs and in home services.
