Lamar and his team did an excellent job moving me long distance. Lamar was organized during our first interaction when he asked me questions about the move and he was very polite when he performed a walk-through my house a few days later. They showed up on time on moving day and got straight to work after introductions! They made sure they were removing the correct items from each room, which I really appreciated. They worked very efficiently and disassembled furniture the fastest I’ve ever seen. They wrapped fragile items carefully. Moving is tough, but they kept the mood light with smiles and singing while carrying heaving boxes/furniture, and that honestly kept me motivated. The unloading was fast and they reassembled all of my furniture. Nothing was broken or scratched during the move! Lamar runs a tight ship, which means he’s organized, efficient, and in control as the leader of his team. Do yourself a favor and hire Essential Services!

Lamar and his moving crew were amazing. Very punctual and extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to move my furniture efficiently and with the upmost care and respect. This was my first time hiring a company to help me move stuff and I can confidently say that I will forever be calling them for any of my future moving needs. 10/10 would recommend.

Lamar is a true professional and handled our move beautifully. He truly laid out the red carpet for us and didn’t let us lift a finger while him and his team took care of all our belongings with the utmost respect. He took the time to wrap and pad all of our furniture so everything was safe and protected. We moved into a three-story, old home in Covington with doors and halls narrower than most and he navigated all the angles like a pro. Lamar was so calm and confident which helped make a stressful experience like a move easier. Lamar’s responsiveness was unmatched and I would recommend him and his services to anyone in the area.

Lamar was punctual, professional, friendly and courteous. He moved quickly very heavy furniture up a difficult staircase and didn’t scratch a thing. I would definitely hire again and would highly recommend.
