I hired Essential Services to move a very large, very heavy wooden photography backdrop into my studio. I had never used ThumbTack before, so this was my first experience. Lamar called me back very quickly and was to my studio within the hour. Actually, from start (inquiry) to finish (payment) I think we clocked under two hours. It was such a relief to have that backdrop out of our van and into my studio. We couldn’t have moved it without Lamar and his guys. THANK YOU!

We are extremely pleased with Lamar and Essential Services. We urgently needed movers at the last minute to finish a job another moving company failed to complete... same day... and he responded. He was professional and courteous. Kept in touch by phone and text as he finished one job and came to our house. He and his crew packed our belongings, unloaded, and repacked the garage to fix the mess the other company had left behind. I couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend Essential Services!

Lamar is a true professional and handled our move beautifully. He truly laid out the red carpet for us and didn’t let us lift a finger while him and his team took care of all our belongings with the utmost respect. He took the time to wrap and pad all of our furniture so everything was safe and protected. We moved into a three-story, old home in Covington with doors and halls narrower than most and he navigated all the angles like a pro. Lamar was so calm and confident which helped make a stressful experience like a move easier. Lamar’s responsiveness was unmatched and I would recommend him and his services to anyone in the area.
