Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I believe that what separates a "good trainer "from a "great trainer" is the attention to detail. I would hope that all of my past and present clients would agree that I am engaged in every session and give them the service they deserve. A major factor that is often overlooked by trainers is the attention to corrective exercise. I have always said" anyone can get someone sweating in a workout but its those who have the ability to correct movement patterns, prevent injury and deliver the desired results the client is looking for that makes a trainer worthy of its title". Most importantly, you cant teach passion. I truly love the fact that on a daily basis I have an opportunity to educate, motivate and impact the lives of others around the Greater Cincinnati Area. I literally make my living by directly improving the lives of those that seek help. It cant get much more rewarding than that!

Chris started training me in The beginning of 2014. I weighed 309 lbs. At that point, and wasn't feeling self-confident in general-- and impossibly embarrassed to be at the gym. Chris' encouraging personality and words helped me feel like I deserved to be a part of the family of 'athletes' and people who take care of themselves. He treated me like an athlete from the very beginning, believing in me when I definitely did not believe in myself. The workout plan he wrote for me each week was incredibly detailed and specifically geared to my personal goals. Chris' knowledge, coupled with his motivational attitude, is a force to be reckoned with. He was not only an incredibly gifted trainer for me during our training sessions, but he was also somewhat of a life coach-- motivating me to vent, process, then focus and move on with different hurdles in my life-- and to make sure I was "killin' it," as he would say--- giving it 100% 24/7. The day Chris announced he was leaving the training facility, I cried. It was bittersweet. I cried tears of joy for how much progress I had made in such a short amount of time and tears of sadness because I wasn't sure I knew how to keep up with training without him there to guide me. He instilled an athelete's attitude in me. I will be forever grateful to Chris for that. I kept taking Chris' advice and I have continued on my weight loss adventure and health endeavor & lost 108 lbs in one year. Chris was a front runner in helping me stick with it. It's worth it!!!

Bob Ampulski Age 72 I engaged Chris Farrell as my personal trainer in October 2014. Chris‘s responsibilities included strength training, of my arms, legs, abs, core, balance improvement, nutrition, and weight management. Chris tailors the exercise and weights appropriately to the client’s current capability. He increases reps and weights only as the ability increases. He avoids exercises and motions that have the potential of inducing muscle or joint pain. If a pain does occur the exercise is terminated, the source is determined and a remedy is sought. All workout sessions are age, ability, and capability appropriate. The objective of the workouts is to strengthen functional movements and continue to improve quality of life. Over the past six months I have lost 13 pounds, dropped 2” from my waist, can balance on one leg for extended periods, raise from a lounge chair to a standing position unassisted, genuflect on either leg and raise to a standing position unassisted, in addition to doing squats, TRX exercises, kettle ball lifts, and working on improving every day movements. Mr. Farrell added nutrition monitoring and advice to the exercise program. The addition of appropriate meal planning and eating habits, such as adding protein to breakfast and lunch, has added endurance and reduced lethargy during my awake time. He also sent out high protein, low calorie and low fat recipes. He has logged my vital measurements at the beginning of my engagement and is monitoring it quarterly.

I've been working with Chris for about 6 months now. I started out in group classes, then did private sessions and now am really enjoying his Boot Camp sessions. I honestly really hated everything about working out at first. It was a necessary evil and I simply forced myself to buy sessions with a trainer just so I'd have an appointment to get to the gym. Thanks in large part to Chris' encouragement and training style, I have a totally new outlook on working out. I find myself making time to workout, whereas before I'd have sworn there were simply not enough hours in the day. Thanks to his nutritional guidance I have learned how to fuel my workouts and how much in the way of calories / protein I should be eating daily as well as helpful suggestions to 'eat this, not that'. I am down almost 20 lbs in just a few short months! I also had significant knee pain when I started working out and now I sometimes forget which knee is my 'bad' knee. Chris has great knowledge of anatomy and proper form during exercise movements which has helped prevent any new injuries and alleviated pain in my knee. I have worked with other trainers in the past; it always seemed like a waste of time or an exercise in frustration. Chris has never missed a session or been late, and is always pushing me to increase the intensity of my workouts. You can tell he really loves what he does and his enthusiasm has a way of rubbing off on you - even at a 6:00 am Boot Camp! He is definitely not a passive rep counter! You will be challenged. Sometimes I think he cares more about the goals I've set for myself than I do. He is rather stubborn in his pursuit of his clients' fitness goals and despite all my protests and attempts to bargain down the dumbbell's weight or number of reps, I rarely am able to get away with such ploys. I am grateful for his relentless nature as I do feel so much stronger and more energetic in my daily life.

I have been working with Chris for the past two and a half years, it has been and continues to be an excellent experience. Chris creates unique workouts every session, he motivates with positive feedback and encouragement to reach my goals. The workouts are total fitness workouts, cardio, strength training, core work, stability/balance training, high intensity/low intensity. Some mornings it's focused on one area, other mornings it's a combination of a few or all the areas. Chris even adjusts the workouts as we go along based on how I'm feeling. Along with the excellent physical training, Chris is also an outstanding nutritional coach. If you are looking for at trainer that truly offers total fitness, you have been looking for Chris!

I have been a client of Chris' for a year and a half now and after experiencing other trainers in the past I can easily say that Chris has been the most passionate, motivational and helpful trainer I have encountered. He is always on time and fully prepared for each session; he caters workouts towards my specific goals, and recently helped me accomplish personal bests in my 5k and Pump 'n Run race. Chris is always fully engaged in our sessions and excels at explaining each exercise along with proper technique in order to avoid injury. What I appreciate most is his dedication to his craft and positive nature. I would highly recommend Chris as your fitness specialist. Dr. Andrew T. Hearn
