Introduction: I offer personalized, goal-oriented, musical and fun lessons. These lessons are about you and your personal aspirations in music. Break into playing music for the first time or bust past that professional plateau; I will help you set realistic short-term goals that aim at whatever long-term goals you already have (of being a rock star, fluent improviser, early childhood songleader, praise-band leader, rock star, songwriter, garage / basement / bedroom music troll and rock star). I teach beginners, professionals, and everyone in between. I hold a masters in music education, and I have taught most styles of music, including but never limited to: classic rock, new rock, pop rock, rockabilly, blues, jazz, folk, country, bluegrass, klezmer, solo acoustic, classical, and the Beatles (who get their own genre). I've taught flat-pickers to fingerpick, fingerpickers to flat-pick, nose-pickers to, well, wash their hands before they play guitar.
