I have the terminal degree in my field, the Doctor of Musical Arts degree, from CCM, and a Master of Music degree from the Kansas City (Missouri) Conservatory. I am an active performer and chamber musician, and am on the piano faculty at CCM in the Preparatory Department. I taught for 2 years at Miami University in Oxford, OH, was the Coordinator of the Piano Department at Earlham College in Richmond, IN, 2006-2013, and taught Music Theory at Northern Kentucky University. I have been teaching piano since 1984. A new music specialist, I lecture on modern piano literature and technique as well as women in music, and am always on the lookout for a brand new masterpiece to premiere!
