Chris is a true artisan. He took an otherwise disaster of a doorway installation and turned it into something finished and fine. I'm afraid that fellow Thumbtack users are going to have to do without him for awhile because we plan to use him for a number of other projects around the house. :)Apr 17, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The most expensive part of remodeling is materials. I wish it were not so but that is the fact. I try and think over everything that will be needed to complete the job and then shop around for the best price and quality. Then I will present the options to my customer and let them decide what option is best for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am fortunate to work in an industry that is always changing the products we use so I will never stop learning about new techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I could never go to an office or a factory every day, I am the type that likes variety and challenges and this line of work is ideal for that. I started working with my grandfather at a young age doing finish carpentry and never looked back.
