What can I say....Jim's work is simply Impeccable!! On day one Jim came over to analyze our situation. We came up with a multi phased plan which is approx 75% complete. The project entailed (1) creating a bridge between old panel and the new panel, eliminating failing breakers and upgrading to new ones in the new panel (2) Used existing 120V line to power the new sub panel in the garage which feeds all the new electric into our gutted kitchen (3) Consulted with us on upgrading to new switches and outlets (LED, USB, Three Way, Dimmers) (4) Assisted in running new 120V to power new stove (5) Eliminated all old Knob and Tube and replacing with new romex wired (6) Three way switch in kitchen and garage. Jim is timely and keeps on schedule....A pleasure to work with!
D3 did a superb job on two tile showers. They had to fix another contractors issue and it was a world of difference using D3. Professional, reliable and quality work all around!
Top to bottom one of the best experiences with any contractor I have ever had. From the top notch quality of work to prompt responses. They left Everything clean and looking great. Will definitely use again.
Tim did mud work and paint for me, it was not a big job and was difficult but he did a great job. I have hired 100's of contractors and I know a good one when I see it.
MJT Contractors out of Ravenna, Ohio is a good little outfit and are willing to take the small jobs that some Home Owners may not be able to do theselves!! Very polite, timely, and respectful guys I highly reccomend them for any type of home job that you might need done for a fair price.
James come to my home and did a excellent and e fficient job on my back porch steps and repairing my kitchen sink and water damage shelf.
I had been having problems with my kitchen sink for about 4 years. First, the water never ran hot. Then, the drain was constantly getting clogged. Unfortunately, I was unable to unclog it myself this last time. Matt arrived, on time, and basically told me what the problem was. He explained everything while he was working. His price was reasonable, unclogged my drain, but more importantly: I have hot water!! I will be calling him in the future with other projects.
I hired them to remodel my kitchen. I was very pleased with their work. They were clean, respectful, and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend them.
From the first meeting with Dave Rogers to the last day he was personally on the job along with his crew members. We knew we were in good hands. We had our house painted, our back patio replaced and a pad poured in front of our shed. Everything about the work was explained to us in detail; he walked us through the entire process and helped with ideas making everything seamless. Safe Guard Renovations took the time to ensure the drainage and other pertinent facets of the patio installation were taken into account before laying the concrete, which is critical. Part of this line of work is how the contractor treats the customer, Dave and his crew, Shane and Jamie did not forget that. They made this a great experience, with high quality craftsmanship in the end product. We cannot be happier with the service, advice, timeliness, and overall work completed to give us a better outdoor living space! Thank you Safe Guard Renovation, thank you Dave, Shane and Jamie! We would recommend Safe Guard Renovation for any work in the future.
We bought our home about a year ago knowing that the roof was old and that we would have to replace it relatively soon. I was hoping to wait until next year to replace it, but unfortunately the roof started leaking and next year was too long to wait. I contacted a big name company and they came out and quoted me a HUGE amount to replace the roof. I posted on Thumbtack that I was looking for a roof replacement quote and Dan Replied back right away saying that he could come out that evening and take a look at it. Dan showed up at our house and walked our roof in the cold and dark (he brought lighting) and told us right then and there what he would charge us to do the replacement. And the price he gave us was HALF what the big name company wanted to charge us! He even said he would come out the next day and tar up a temporary patch where he could tell the leak was coming from so that would hold us until he and his crew could get the replacement done. True to his word, he patched it all up for us. Dan kept in contact with us for the next 2 weeks until they could get out to do our roof - which we greatly appreciated. Dan and his crew got our roof done in two days and left our yard neat and clean. Dan even went above and beyond by removing an old chimney stack on the roof that we no longer wanted or used. Dan didn’t ask for a penny from us until after the job was completed. He is a fair and honest contractor that does exceptional work and was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be calling him when we replace our house siding!
Pat did a great job. Really made the kitchen look great. Definitely will hire again.
Joe was called in mid-way through a project to remodel my bathroom. He did an excellent job finishing my bathroom. My kids and I love it! He also worked on remodeling my kitchen and I am very happy with the end result. I would definitely call Joe to do future work in my home!
The best recommendation that can be given any company is if you use them multiple times. I have had Tom do multiple upgrades to my houses over the years. What is unique about Tom is that he not only can do the install but he can do the design also. The kitchen that is on the website is ours. Tom listened to what we wanted in a kitchen and came up with the design for us. He has remodeled our master bath and second bath and installed our tile floors. In our previous house he remodeled our kitchen, installed our wood floor and designed and built our deck. I am very pleased with the work he has done for us over the years and would not hesitate to recommend him for any remodeling job someone might have.
Laura was a big help picking out material and helping put us in touch with the right contractors for our project. She has a great network of people and can get the job done.
I initially was looking for an estimate for cabinets to be painted. Rylie Renovations responded quickly, scheduled a time to review the effort and submitted a proposal. The work evolved into a kitchen design which included repairing some work the builder didn’t do well and some damage from a prior contractor. Through the entire process he was extremely professional, transparent about the specific work being done, costs were in line with estimates and the impeccable quality was beyond amazing. I noticed He even fixed some little things that he saw along the way, and didn’t increase the price! I’m very pleased with the work, the quality and the manner in which it was done. The price was reasonable too. I will definitely hire him for all my other projects. Kudos for a job well done.
We we were just completed by John and his team at our home and delivered outstand results. The roof, attic and kitchen floor projects were completed from start to finish on time and budgets as planned. We are extremely satisfied with their team and hi m.
This was my third experience with Top Notch if that tells you anything! One of the few contractors that actually shows up and delivers when promised!
I could NOT have redone my 1980's house without Susan. She was extraordinary. It was a huge job and she made it seem effortless. And, most importantly, kept me calm. My husband and I did not agree on everything, and Susan was an expert at compromise. She took me from flowered, busy wallpaper (very 80's) to a beautiful, neutral decor. We just redid the kitchen and I could not be happier. I highly recommend Susan for your design needs. Very professional. AND, has excellent taste!!
Matthew was very professional over the phone and in person. He arrived at my home the next day with his crew and completed my kitchen in 1 day. Amazing work made my dream kitchen come to life! Thank you will be back for other repairs soon.
Keith is my general contractor and architect of choice for any of my home improvement projects. He is very conscientious of price and working within a budget while providing the most bang for your home improvement buck. He has no problems working with the home owner on design and budget to get you to your goal. I have used him on several major projects including a two story addition with basement, a partially covered deck and two basement remodels (the new basement and the original.) I highly recommend him.
Contractor did not follow through with what he was committed to do and also over charged me based on quote under the guise that he had to "store" my items, which is not true. He also failed to listen to what I wanted and issues that I had. For example, I now have a cabinet that I wanted doors only to and had 5 drawers and now, to add to that, the door to the cabinet has been discontinued. I paid for MANY MANY things that were never delivered to me, and paid for MANY MORE things that I didn't need. I paid Ikea $4,200, of which I returned over $700 in items and had to purchase over $500 more (and still do not have a door for a large cabinet). Vendor failed to even stand by his responses to emails. I wanted to pay cash for the services rendered and he demanded credit card because he didn't want his son to have the cash? Just odd all around, I am sure there are better options out there. Luckily, the local Ikea has been more than gracious to address the issues I have had. If not for that I would have sued this contractor for breach and would have clearly won based on over 40 pages of email communications trying to get him to fix the issues. Don't walk, run, from this contractor.
