Great experience. We were stood up by another company (Sunday of labor day weekend). This put us in panic mode. We contacted Smooth Moves and he said he could add us on at the end of the day.He was very good with his communications - let us know it would take longer because one of his customers moves was more involved.Eventually, we asked if we would be able to change it to Labor day. (We were tired and stressed and just not up to it). He agreed. Again he was great about with his communication. He contacted us in the morning to let us know when his crew would arrive.Once here - the 2 men were very nice, efficient and it really did go smoothly. Thanks for salvaging what started out as a very bad day.If they continue to do business this way - they will be very successful.

We moved from Ohio to Leland NC. As you know there are certain items you worry about with moving and getting damaged. I also didnt know when I could find time to pack a 3,000 sq ft home with working full time with kids. I had Ed come out and quote to pack and move my entires house across 3 states. He had a crate made for a fragile piece of solid marble furniture that was extremely sentimental to me. It made it safe and sound along with al my other furniture. He was on time and here at the new home when we needed him. I wouldnt of changed a thing!! The care and attention to detail was remarkable. He was very reasonable priced so we gave him a little extra due to our satisfaction and patience he and his employee had with all the unexpected circumstances!!! Thank you Ed and everyone on your team!

We had to sell and empty out our Northeast Ohio home of 60 years in less than a month, while we were all across the country. Smooth Moves by Ed was the best part of the whole thing! Professional and considerate down to the tiniest detail, Ed thought of everything and took care of it all. Every item was packed to perfection, every piece was treated with respect and care from our antique grandfather clock to a little squirrel lawn ornament. They met our very tight schedule, kept us fully informed, responded to every concern quickly and even drove past a hurricane to ensure everything was perfectly delivered and on time. Can't recommend them highly enough, they delivered more than just our "stuff" -- they delivered peace of mind to our mother and our family. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience using Ed and his crew. He was able to fit me in and gave me a great price especially for an out of state move. I was so pleased with every aspect, especially with how well he and his movers managed to get all of our stuff in the truck with room to spare. Ed is an expert at packing the truck just the right way to maximize space, also so that things don't get crushed or shift around while driving. He had to disassemble some items to get them through our narrow doorways and halls and managed to get everything through without scratching a wall. They also hoisted a heavy wooden bed from the backyard over a balcony into a bedroom because there was no way it was getting up the stairs, pure genius! Plus he's a really nice guy!
