Pre Purchase Home Inspection
Our experience with McFaddin Home Inspections was absolutely wonderful. Chris McFaddin was professional and thorough, on time, very detail oriented, and very personable. We received the report the same night as the inspection. all the details had pictures attached. We were very satisfied with our experienceOct 18, 2016Verified
Pre Purchase Home Inspection
The first time we used Chris, he saved us from buying a black hole. It was deteriorating on every front. The second time, we thought we found our "first home" that we could enjoy for years. Chris did a very thorough report, or so we thought. Upon further inspection of the basement after moving in, we noticed water stains, cover ups & small cracks in our laundry room, by our breaker box and by our water meter. In December, those cracks began leaking and destroyed all of our carpet. When the company came to rip up the carpet, they found rotted boards everywhere - mold, damage & rot galore! Chris missed all the signs of water damage - water stains, cracks, bowing walls, "cover ups". I've contacted him to see if there's anything he can do to help us and of course we have not heard back. I guess the old saying applies here - you get what you pay for. He was cheap & quick but it isn't worth the $20K we're facing now as first time home buyers.Mar 8, 2017Verified
I was hitting him with questions left and right as we walked through the home. He never hesitated explaining things to me. Great personality and thoroughNov 16, 2019Verified
The foundation inspection was the wrong type. The full house inspection, he stated that my basement may get moisture due to the exterior foundation had cracked. (The house doesn't have a basement) Also called several times to discuss the inspection, did not receive a return call. I believe he is only concerned about getting paid then doing an honest and correct inspection.Nov 5, 2019Verified
Did a great job - was able to do the inspection next business day and the report was very user friendly with plenty of supporting pictures.Oct 12, 2016Verified
