Introduction: i have worked for several major moving companies around the columbus area and the one thing that bothered me the most was when it was time for the customer to take care of the bill at the end. there was always a truck charge and anywhere from 75.00$ to 100.00$ an hour just the look on the customers face, was usually awful awful and alot of customers tip the movers for doing a good job and not scratching walls or breaking any personal belongings but after getting hit with a ridiculous bill for the move there really wasnt any room for tipping, i always thought that was bad business. the company makes all the money and the movers are the ones who busted their behinds to get the job done in a timely manner trying to save the customer some money.and the movers typically earn 1/5th of the total bill, for example if the total bill was right around 500.00$ a little more than 300.00$ goes straight to the company and the 2 guys who moved all your furniture split the remaining....movers do all the work and the companies sit back and get richer and richer...what i want is for everyone involved to be happy at the end of each job. i like watching people take that leap into a new home. its nice to see people upgrade and have new beginnings
