FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge on a monthly, 6 month (with a discount), or year (with a bigger discount) tuition schedule. Our schedule takes the total number of lessons x our rate and divides it over 12 months. This way each month is an even payment regardless of there being 5 weeks, 4 weeks, or holidays/summer break.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When one of our instructors meets with a new student, they assess there current level of experience through games, sight-reading, speaking with the student, etc. The first meeting or trial lesson with the student gives our instructor a chance to get to know the type of learner the student is, as well as what music the student is interested in which will allow them to make a better connection for long-term music study.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors have at least a Bachelor's degree in a music field with a minimum of two years of experience teaching students. A lot of our instructors teach at the collegiate level (Capital University, OSU, University of Rio Grande) Some of our instructors have advanced degrees: Masters of Vocal performance and Vocal pedagogy, and Masters of Music) All of our instructors are very heavily involved in the local music community (Catco Theater, McConnell Arts Center concert series, featured acts at state fairs in Kentucky and Florida, many local concerts, restaurants, weddings, corporate events)
