Instruction will continue online through October 2020 or later depending on medical recommendations (more info below). Testimonials from happy parents: "My son enjoys every piano lesson he had with Ms. Holly. He said she makes the lessons fun. As a parent, I saw growth in my son's skills even though he only started with Ms. Holly last fall semester. We give her a five star rating." ~ Roselyn M. "Her strong educational background brings so much to her lessons, and she has a great ability to connect with the student to teach them in a individualized approach. She has been a perfect fit for our daughter." ~ Mansi C. "Our family is so lucky to have Ms. Holly teach piano to our daughter. We feel she has advanced in her technique and love for music beyond our expectations since she has started her studies. Holly makes learning music fun and engaging so our daughter is always excited to come to her lessons and now our younger son can't wait to join his sister and start taking lessons. Thank you Holly!" ~ Olga B. Holly Kessis, M.M., owner and teacher at Lyrikos, on her teaching philosophy: "Lyrikos is the Greek word for lyrical, and encompasses my entire view on teaching music. I believe each and every person is born with their own unique musical voice. From the very start, I meet the student where they are in terms of their learning needs, their interests, and their musical background. As a result, my child and adult students are well-rounded musicians with fluency in all styles of music... from classical to pop, jazz, and beyond. Not only do they participate in local MTNA festivals and the Royal Conservatory of Music program, but they spend time expanding creatively with me through composing, arranging, and producing music. We even have performance classes and recitals in the fall and spring, with additional group classes on fun topics during the summer!"See more
