Roger Parish is an OUTSTANDING music instructor! He taught my siblings and I music lessons 30 years ago and now I have the pleasure of watching him teach my own children (piano and drums). He expects a lot out of his students and has a unique ability to develop their desire to meet and exceed his expectations! His praise is hard-earned, as such, it garners a genuine sense of pride and accomplishment when given. I highly, highly recommend Roger Parish to anyone looking for a highly skilled music instructor that is truly operating in his gift!Jun 2, 2015Parish Musical Arts Conservatory's reply
Thank you my dear dear friend!
Absolutely love working with Roger. I took vocal lessons with him. Great guy, very supportive, very good approach to teaching music, very flexible and talented musically. He's a pro, but is nonetheless excellent working with a beginner. I moved out of town temporarily, when I move back I will get in touch with him again. Also he works in a great space for music lessons!May 27, 2015Parish Musical Arts Conservatory's reply
Thanks so much Chris! I look forward to you getting back in here and continuing what we started. You came a long way and I know you're still at it.
General First Lady J.
Bro. Roger Parish has provided piano lessons to both our daughters over the years and we've found him to be patient, thorough, generous and simplistic. He is a Man of God that has gained our trust and respect. He genuinely desires to see the children perfect whatever gift of music God has given to them. Can't fail to mention how emensly talented in God he is himself - he not only can sing very well but he can play & teach many different instruments, equally well. My husband & I are thankful to know Bro. Parish and have nothing but good things to say about him.Jun 5, 2015Parish Musical Arts Conservatory's reply

Roger Parish is a teacher that not only works from the heart but is one of the most patient, compassionate and inspiring teachers I've ever worked this. I know that if I get into a bind with my singing, I have a place to go! Love you brother! Thank you for the breakthrough!!!May 28, 2015Parish Musical Arts Conservatory's reply

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I haven't done any "formal" continuing education, however I am always continually learning. A lot of that learning is from my experience with my students. It forces me to look things up at times until the right key is found. There are no shortcuts, except to learn the mind of the student well enough to communicate information effectively.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Teaching privately was actually suggested to me by a friend in college. Once I began, I never stopped. I fell in love.
