I recently purchased an Ikea TV stand with the sole purpose of putting it together myself. Once I saw the picture instructions I realized I was in over my head. I had never heard of Thumbtack and found it by searching. I put in my request of what was needed, Jack was one of three responses that I received, after reading the reviews I decided to select Jack. I had at first requested for him to come in 2 days from now, he was not available but to my surprise he stated he could do it this evening. We agreed upon a very reasonable price and time, he stated he would message me when he was on his way. I received a message from him that he was about 20 minutes away and about 20 minutes he knocked on my door. He is a very pleasant and kind young man who knows what he is doing. I felt extremely comfortable having him in my home. He went straight to work and completed the assembly quickly. I was actually surprised at how fast that he did the work. I have a dresser that will be coming and have already discussed with him about assembling it. I will definitely use his services again and again. I recommend Jack Skeans to anyone who is looking for someone to help them on their projects. Thank you Jack!

Very happy with the work he did. Instructions from IKEA were crappy, parts unlabeled and so on. Still he got both pieces together. Hanging the older 55 inch TV was a pain but it got done. We are quite happy and will be using him again.

Jack was great! He hung 2 TV’s with a little bit of a challenge due to metal studs, but he did a great job! Very professional and extremely polite. I would use him again any day.
