We had 60 year old hardwood floors everywhere in our house but the kitchen. They were in pretty rough shape. They absorbed water which caused a lot of staining. We had Stephan Flooring come out and give us a quote in April of 2019 but did not have work done until March of 2020 because we were remodeling our kitchen and it needed to be done first. They repaired all damage done to the floors with the remodel, ripped up 5 layers of ugly linoleum in the kitchen and put hardwood back down. It is seamless. You cannot tell the difference between the old and new wood. That is also a testament to how remarkable of a job they did in our old wood. We were just blown away. Our 60 year old original floors look like brand new floors! That is all my husband could repeat for days and the first thing he tells everyone. We ended up needing new baseboards as we found out when taking them off that they were not in good shape. Stephan's put those up and shoe molds as well. We just had to paint them. They were very professional and trustworthy. They arrived when they said they would and completed the job in the timeframe they advised us. Cost was very reasonable as well. I am a shopper but I can honestly tell you that they were so great, you don't even need to shop around. Just have Stephan's come out and give you a quote. You will not be disappointed.

Stephen flooring did an awesome job on my mid cent model 1957 build, after pulling up the carpet and finding the pad melted into the nice oak flooring. Stephen worked to clean it all up, and the finish was superb!! No complaints, he communicated well, showed up on time and finished on time.

If you want a firm that will exceed your expectations, Stephan Flooring is it. They did our living room, dining room, two bedrooms and a hallway and we could not be more pleased. I am not a person who gets excited about things like flooring, but this is something I am excited about. Their quality cannot be beaten and their price was more than fair. I attached two photos. One shows a partial job while they were sanding the floor and the second shows after they completed the job. Neither does justice to their work, but it shows you some of what they did.

We hired Stephan Flooring to install hardwood flooring in a room in the 1942 home we purchased to match the rest of the floors. When Stephan came out to look at the home and give me a quote I could tell he had experience and knowledge. He was organized, professional, and prepared. I also asked him to refinish all of the other hardwoods and stairs. The pricing is very fair. It turned out that when they ripped up the existing ruined hardwood, there was extensive termite damage to the subfloor and floor joists. Stephan Flooring replaced the joists and subfloor. Now our floors and home looks amazing! I would definitely hire them again!
