I hired Michael to replace a front entry door that was irreparable. The original door was a multi-panel decorative solid wood door around 100 years old, and I knew that finding a replacement would prove challenging. Michael was more than up to the task, and found a company that could create essentially an identical replacement door. Once the door was made (in Oregon, and shipped to a local store), Michael picked up the door and installed it immediately (in the falling snow, I might add.) From step one of assessing what needed to be done, to measuring, locating a manufacturer, delivering and installing the door, Michael proved to be highly resourceful, skilled and reliable. He kept in close communication during the entire process, and when it came time to hang the door, he brought with him a very professional associate and accomplished the job impeccably. I would certainly recommend hiring Michael, and I know I'll be contacting him for future work.
Toni was very nice and arrived on time. He was very honest, did not try to up-sell us at all on the repair, and stuck to his estimate, which I considered very reasonable. He even drove out to several different hardware stores, a few miles away, and did not charge us anything extra for the additional driving and time to find the hard-to-find parts. He was able to efficiently remove the hard-to-remove stem and nut from the fixture, which both myself and a previous plumber could not figure out how to get it to budge. With Toni's expertise and tools, he was able to remove this without any problems. After he was done, the water no longer leaked from the shower diverter valve, and was fixed exactly the way it was promised to be. Definitely would recommend, and would hire him again for future plumbing repairs.
Wayne has done several projects for me. Fixed a masonry set of steps, installed door locks trimmed bushes and trees. All projects have been completed as requested and with good quality. He has good communication skills and always works with your schedule. Wayne is the man, and I would recommend him.
I needed a repair done on short notice. They responded quickly, assessed the situation, retrieved the part and made the repair. The communicated the entire process and were completely upfront and open. I would recommend; I would hire again.
Michael reached out promptly after I posted my repair issue with a quick quote and and notice of availability. He and Jason replaced the dimmer/ceiling fan switches as I asked and I'm happy with the result.
Our garage door fell off on a Sunday. I put job on Thumbtack and Lenie contacted me and said they could come out Monday. They gave me a detailed estimate and ordered door. Once door was in, they scheduled install. They came on time and installed door. Once done explained everything to me. Looks great. Great company.
Paul completed several projects for us which included electrical installations of outside lights and front door repair. He arrived on time and professionally completed the job. He is very knowledgeable and strives for excellence in completing his work. I would definitely recommend Paul for any of your home repair projects.
If there were 10 stars, I would give them 20! I have never met a contractor so kind, professional, accommodating, talented, meticulous and conscientious about their work. This is an amazing family business. Customer care and service is their number one concern and what they do best, along with outstanding work. They do ANYTHING they can to please their client. I had a bathroom painted including walls, door, trim and vanity...with special effects. The job was done within two days, and I actually paid more than they quoted because it would have been insulting to PJ for everything he did, if I had only covered the quote. I am absolutely having them back to do the entire interior of our home including windows. If you need a reliable amazing contractor, I highly recommend D3 Services--their work ethic and talent far exceed expectations.
We hired Cipriano Painting to paint the majority of our new (but original) home that required wall paper removal, wall repair and painting...they did a fabulous job! Now, we keep calling him for additional work to be done!
Had some siding that needed replaced, and Brian really showed his expertise when we found the right color, but saw that after 25 years what was presently on the house wasn't going to match exactly because of sun fade. Well he took some of the existing siding from the bottom placed it where the repair was needed. After that placed the new siding on the bottom where the is only one side to color contrast it to. If you sat and looked at it for awhile you might think it was a trick of the light,a shadow making it look slightly different, otherwise it's completely undetectable. Something that if I could have found the siding on my own, would have had no clue to even think to do. He was replied quickly to all my messages and did the job in a very timely manner. I would absolutely hire him again!
Great door install this afternoon!
I recently had a new driveway, sidewalk and 10' x 20' pad behind my garage installed by Safe Guard Renovations. Dave Rogers, the owner of the company is a young ambitious professional. I was skeptical at first because he had only been in business for five years but there is no doubt that he had been exposed to this trade for many years prior. Dave employ's true tradesman, his main concern was to make me happy as the customer. The tear out, install and finish was done in three days. I couldn't be happier. I had some concerns and questions after the job was done and paid for, so I texted Dave and within five minutes he called me back. All is good. I would like to make mention of some of his guys as I said he has some extremely skilled tradesmen working for him. Mike, who was the senior of them all would spend time with me while I was micromanaging the project (getting in their way) and reassure me that the guys that were on the job know exactly what they're doing. Shane, is there master plumber who will repair, relocate and tie in all your drains and who also has an extensive back ground in the cement trades. Som, this man is a bull and will take charge of the cement pour and finishing, complete professional. There are many others but just can’t remember their names. Bottom line, I would recommend Safe Guard Renovations for your cement needs.
I contracted with this company to repair the shutters on the front of our home. He never came to do the work.
Jay came out and repaired my gutter the same day I posted to Thumbtack. Great communication and perfect repair.
Bert showed up on time, listened to my issue and then told me clearly how he would approach the repair. He answered my questions and made me feel confident in the work he was doing. My repair was minor, it was resolved quickly and didn't break the bank! I'll use again if I have anymore roof issues.
Excellent service! I was given previous estimates for the work I needed and all were out of my budget. Matthew came right over shortly after speaking to him, evaluated what needed to be done, and gave me a price that was within my budget. I would definitely recommend and would use him for any future work I need. Thank again Matthew!
Saleem & Sons did an outstanding job mounting my bedroom television and replacing my bathroom door. Abdul was very kind, prompt, professional, and most importantly, very knowledgeable about the jobs I requested to be completed. I am completely satisfied with Saleem & Sons and highly recommend them to anyone looking for home repairs /renovations at a great price.
I have used this company servant times to install and repair garage doors for my rental properties. They offered great services and were very reasonable.
Contractor did not follow through with what he was committed to do and also over charged me based on quote under the guise that he had to "store" my items, which is not true. He also failed to listen to what I wanted and issues that I had. For example, I now have a cabinet that I wanted doors only to and had 5 drawers and now, to add to that, the door to the cabinet has been discontinued. I paid for MANY MANY things that were never delivered to me, and paid for MANY MORE things that I didn't need. I paid Ikea $4,200, of which I returned over $700 in items and had to purchase over $500 more (and still do not have a door for a large cabinet). Vendor failed to even stand by his responses to emails. I wanted to pay cash for the services rendered and he demanded credit card because he didn't want his son to have the cash? Just odd all around, I am sure there are better options out there. Luckily, the local Ikea has been more than gracious to address the issues I have had. If not for that I would have sued this contractor for breach and would have clearly won based on over 40 pages of email communications trying to get him to fix the issues. Don't walk, run, from this contractor.
Abe did a great job. He was there when he said he would be there and my sliding door looks better than when it was first installed. I would highly recommend him for any job around the house
