Trey's Trade was the best find we've had on Thumbtack. We went from having a cold, empty basement to a warm, inviting, finished living space with bedroom. I can barely believe it's the same space. Trey's price was as quoted, and he really helped us out by getting things usually purchased by the client (carpet, paint, etc.) because we didn't have time and didn't know what to get. Trey is a wealth of knowledge. Every question I asked, he had the answer. He took the time to explain each step along with the "why" behind the processes. He and his employees were super friendly, cleaned up each day, and were very responsive to requests. Beyond the basement, we also hired Trey to make alterations to our existing deck, added a beautiful paver patio, and built an incredible, beautiful fence, replacing an old fence that was falling apart. Sometimes hiring professionals can be hit or miss, but we definitely hit gold with this one. We will be hiring Trey for every project we have!

I contracted Trey and his team for a full bathroom remodel. Their work was of exceptional quality and they were very patient and flexible as the project evolved, depsite some stalls and setbacks having nothing to do with them, such as waiting for delayed deliveries and me making some decisions/adjustments on the fly. They were responsive when I had questions and concerns and paid good attention to the finer details to make sure that I was satisfied. I will look to work with them again for future projects and would highly recommend them.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For painting I charge $2-5 per square foot, per room. We strictly buy paint from sherwin Williams. We buy the best, so your house looks the best.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Updating your paint might make your outlets and face plates look out dated. Consider updating receptacles once the painting is complete, it can really improve the glow of your new room. We perform these types of tasks as well.
