I worked with Natalie when she was still on the East Coast. Sadly for me, I have not been able to find a replacement teacher with as much knowledge, patience and teaching expertise. I was a complete novice and Natalie was able to take me through the basics of voice training very quickly. While we focused on the techniques I needed to improve - I also had a lot of fun just singing. The lessons were never a grind.

He is patient and makes the lessons fun for the kids. He also uses the Faber and Faber lesson books which we so desired.

I had the pleasure of taking voice lessons from Peg for ten weeks last summer. She is very helpful, patient, dedicated, positive, encouraging, and full of energy. I learned so much about how the voice works from her. The exercises that she taught allowed me to use muscles that I never thought I had. I didn't know I could reach such high notes. Even though I only had her for 10 lessons, my singing techniques vastly improved, and I walked away with the knowledge of how to improve my voice on my own. She is an amazing teacher, an awesome artist, and her passion for music is obvious. I definitely want to take lessons from her again. Peg is simply the BEST!

My daughter has had lessons from a few vocal coaches and Natalia has won her heart. She is by far exactly what we are looking for. Experienced, organized, kind, hardworking, relative and as my 13 year old said awesome, hip and exceeds her expectations!

I have worked with several teachers over the years and Jimmy is by far the most knowledgeable and thorough teacher I have ever had. Not only am I playing things I thought I would never be able to play, because of Jimmy I now have an understanding of theory and my instrument like never before. He often times goes over on lessons until he is confident I understand the concept he is showing me. Jimmy is also one of the funiest people and I love my lessons.

Joe is an excellent piano teacher. He is a very friendly and easy going person who makes learning piano fun and enjoyable. As an adult with a very busy complicated schedule, Joe is always flexible when is comes to scheduling lessons. If you're considering taking on piano lessons, no matter what your age and skill level, I highly recommend Joe. He'll be able to form the lessons around the skills you already have to take you in the direction you want to go.

Lilia teaches piano to my 10 year old and 5 year old. They love her. She is patient, encouraging and full of joy. It is apparent that she loves what she is doing. She strives to motivate each of my children individually in the way that works best for them. She always has their best interests at heart and she genuinely cares for them. We drive 25 minutes to and from lessons because I wouldn't take my kids to anyone else.

Tim is not only a great pianist, but also a great teacher. He's studying jazz pedagogy (how to teach jazz) and openly admits he loves teaching in a private setting. I've also followed podcasts about learning jazz improv and can say that Tim's teaching, pacing and energy is top of the line. I didn't think I'd be able to learn anything about piano after playing for 25 years (and even teaching a little) but after only a few lessons I'm starting to improvise! Amazing teacher. Thanks Tim!!

Had a great first lesson! - reviewed a good amount music theory since I had not taken piano lessons since high school (25 yrs ago). Very much enjoyed Hannah's personality - pleasant and cheerful but focused. She kept the lesson focused so it was very productive and a great review! I also like that we have set attainable goals for the next couple of lessons!

Eugene’s Music Studio is one of the most professional & kind music studios we had the honor to work with. My son is so excited and cannot wait for his piano lessons. The teacher was able to keep him busy and involved throughout the entire session (not an easy task) and she always comes up with new ways for him to stay involved. We are very happy that we found Eugene's Music Studio. Eugene was very attuned and helped us find the best fit for our child and we look forward to seeing the progress he will make with time.

Charley has given my teenager guitar lessons for almost 3 years. He started with no experience and is now playing both acoustic and electric guitars. Charley is flexible, really good with children/teens, and has a wealth of music knowledge.

Violin lessons with Katy are the best. I've had several teachers over the years, but none of them were able to identify a problem and offer corrections like Katy can. She found gaps in my foundational skills and worked with me to make me a better musician all around. Rather than learn a song, I learned vital principles that I can implement repeatedly in all my work.

My children have been students of Chris Whitney for many years. Chris is very patient and helpful, yet pushes students to strive for more. He is an accomplished musician himself and the most pleasant teacher for which my kids could ever hope.

I took voice lessons from Amy for about 5 years. She greatly helped me in learning all the proper ways of breathing and all that goes into being a better singer. She also gave voice and piano lessons to 2 of my nieces and they loved Amy and looked forward to their lessons with her. She's very talented and uses her God given musical gifts to help others.

I took my 10 year old son to Z. Guitar Studio hoping guitar lessons would help overcome his low self esteem. After just two lessons my son was smiling when the lesson was over and telling me how 'cool' it was to play a guitar! He looks forward to every lesson. Z. Guitar Studio knew how to put my son at ease and shows genuine happiness on his improvement at the end of each lesson. I highly recommend Z. Guitar Studio because there is no pressure to spend tons of money and the lesson is based on helping my son to improve at his level and ability. A very professional studio. Thank you Z. Guitar Studio!!

    About

I own my music studio at my home in Delaware, Ohio. I use various lesson plans to meet my piano student's needs. They learn well by creativeness with music games and activities. I'm a member of the Ohio Music Teacher's Association and the National Guild of Piano Teachers. I do two piano recitals per year. I love seeing my students progress as they have fun learning!

Guitar instruction is important to me simply because I have experienced so much in my life and have learned a number of key concepts of what to do to understand the guitar (and what NOT to do!). I believe I am very good at teaching, not simply because I understand the guitar, but because I understand the students. Looking forward to hearing from you. Happy Holidays!, Mark

    About

I teach guitar to students of all ages and ability levels. As a former high-school teacher, I have experience working with different learning styles and abilities. I also cater my teaching to the desires of the student (and often the parents) when they have specific goals in mind. As more and more schools cut music programs, I have found it useful that I have extensive knowledge of music theory, as this allows me to expand beyond a typical guitar instruction and enrich the student's experience with something they might not get elsewhere.
