Gentry has been an amazing coach. I personally have learned so much about proper nutrition and mindset to help me lose 12 lbs in my first 3 months with her. Gentry is one of the most supportive people I’ve worked with. She allows you to develop yourself at your pace while giving you guidelines on how to reach your goals. She can elaborate on what she thinks you need to improve and will validate your feelings and frustrations. She always has a new idea in order to help you continue to work towards your goals or get back on track. She takes time getting to know you before you commit so you know that you are a good fit together. Lifting wise I have hit a PR for every single lift I’ve started with her and have an overall a much better understanding of the food I’m putting in my body. Gentry and her assistant trainer Brittany blend professionalism, creativity, upbeat and motivating personalities, with hard/well earned and practiced knowledge about fitness and nutrition. Of all the trainers I contacted here and off site, Gentry was the most responsive, enthusiastic, and encouraging. As a 47 year old male with chronic Rheumo issues who is 20+ years removed from strength training or a serious fitness regimen, Gentry saw this as an opportunity and not an obstacle, and both she and Brit have gotten the most out of me while also telling me how to maximize the efficacy of the workouts and keeping a sharp eye on my well being. With a precise eye for good form, a balanced but safety and health-minded approach to realize their client’s potential every session, and an ever changing range of exercises, the sessions are always fun, challenging, rewarding, and leave me feeling both like I left nothing on the table and that I look forward to coming back for more. Gentry and Brit will push you, but not berate or look down on you no matter where you are in your own process. They have clients that run the entire range of fitness levels and live and breathe the work and science behind it themselves. Male, female, fit, unfit, healthy, ill — they’re going to get you where you want to go (and beyond) if you’re ready to put the work in, and you’re going to have fun doing it. Come prepared to sweat, listen to their advice; you’d be hard pressed to find better trainers anywhere in Central Ohio. 8 weeks in, 32 sessions, and I truly couldn’t be happier and I absolutely see results I didn’t get elsewhere. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?With my training, you’re not only getting a trainer telling you what to do in the gym; I provide you with nutrition coaching, activity coaching, and mindset coaching while being there for you every single day! It is an investment, but it’s your health & well-being we’re talking about!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initial communication via messaging, chat on the phone for me to get to know you and your specific situation (and also so you can get to know me & ask questions). Once we decide we’re a good fit, onboarding begins asap!
