Nate is the only engineer/producer I use for my music. His technical knowledge and ear are the best not just locally but -- at the very least -- regionally. I constantly get comments on my high sound quality and he is the reason I can complete with industry standards. He has helped shaped my sound more than anyone and is one of the few people I trust to do the work without me over seeing every detail. The ideas he has are brilliant, his equipment is completely professional, and I not only refuse to work with anyone else but plan to continue to use him if my career takes off.

I can’t recommend Sound Cellar recording enough. I recorded my first Christmas album there and Nathan who runs the studio was one of the most professional, down to earth, honest, and hard working people in the industry that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. The recording process went as smoothly as it could go, and Nathan’s expertise on mixing and mastering of the tracks made them turn out sounding even better than I expected them to. Our standard pricing is $40 per hour or a 10-hour block of time can be purchased for $350.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music has always been a huge part of my life. I started playing guitar, singing, writing and arranging music at the age of 12. Playing in bands through the years, I was fortunate to be able to travel. During those times I visited many studios and was always intrigued with the recording process. I was able to learn from the many great engineers that inspired me and now have been a full-time producer and engineer for over 10 years.
