I started going to Lauren about 8 months after I started my first full time job after college. The transition from college to the real world not only meant an 8-5 job but also sitting in a cubicle all day, which lead to weight gain. When basic cardio was no longer cutting it, I decided to make a change and fully commit. Well 8 months later I'm hooked! I've lost 17lbs with Lauren (Ginge), and have achieved so many of my goals with her help by not only teaching me how to lift properly and train, but through nutrition advice and exercises to do outside of our sessions, I continue to see amazing results. Every week I look forward to going to her small group training, not only is it a great workout but it's so much fun! Lauren is extremely motivating and knows how to push you to get you to where you want to be.

Lauren is a great trainer!! The workouts are challenging, with a lot of variety. She knows when to push you and is really good at praising a good effort. She provides advice on nutrition which is really helpful. Can't go wrong here folks!

Lauren is a WONDERFUL trainer. She is a constant positive energy in my life and I don't know what I would do without her. She is like my own personal cheerleader, encouraging me every day to not only work hard but have fun and be in the moment. She has a great program that extends beyond an hour-long workout with her. Once she is in your life, you won't let her leave, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks Lauren for being such a positive energy in my life & so many others!

Lauren is NOT your average trainer. I have come across TOO MANY that focus on weight loss "I can get you down to 115". Lauren focuses on you getting stronger, eating right, and exercising regular, the rest falls into place. She is very motivating and encouraging, and will kick your @ss, but in a good way! Love her!

I have had a great experience training with Lauren. I have been training 2x a week with her for almost a year and I feel like I am continuously improving. I have lost 20lbs since working with her and I don't think I would be where I am today without her help!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

NASM Personal Trainer recertification every 2 years Continued Ed: Corrective Exercise and Rehabilitation, Stretching and Flexibility, Sports Specific Training, KT (Rocktape) certified, Nutrition and Meal Planning

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

In 2007 I was barely living life, suffering from debilitating back pain and a slew of other physical ailments. I was only 27. I signed up with a personal trainer in hopes of it helping- I had no idea how deeply it would change my life. Not only did I overcome the chronic pain that I had struggled with for years, shed nearly 30lbs and find strength I never knew I had, but I also fell in love with the process of building a stronger body. Becoming a trainer to help others discover this life-changing experience for themselves was the obvious next step for me. I'd been there, I knew how hard it was, but I'd also made it through, and I wanted to walk with others in that journey to show them just what was possible on the other side of whatever was standing in their way.
