Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Can your child (or you) solve any of the following problems? 1. If y=3X+2, and X=4, what's "Z"? 2. Mary is 2 years more than twice as old as John, how tall is Susie? 3. You have 13 coins composed of nickels, dimes and quarters, how long can you park at a meter before getting a ticket? Of course you can't solve these. They make no sense, but many of the math problems your child sees make as much sense to him or her as these do! If your kids see math as a foreign language, let me help them translate it into English and have fun doing it! I've been tutoring for several years now and have worked with kids from All Saints (Howard's, Hanson's, Rieple's, Caine's), Lake Catholic, Mentor High, Willoughby South and Kent State covering Grades 4-12, right up through college algebra to include ACT and SAT Prep. For the last four years, I have also "volunteer-tutored" at St. Aloysius (K-8) in Cleveland. Please feel free to contact any of the above families, Sr. Mary Jean Raymond at St. Al's and/or Father Johns for references. On a personal note, my son went to Chardon High and my two step-kids went to All Saints and on to Lake Catholic; all three have since graduated from college. I graduated from West Point with a BS in Engineering, and an MBA from Boston University. I'm pretty flexible and am certain that we can find a place and time convenient to your and your child's schedule. My rate is $35/hour with a discount on subsequent, consecutive hour(s) as well as for a session with three or more students.

So far, Howard Guy has gone above and beyond to help my son understand math. I would highly recommend him.
