Hello, thank you for your interest in our catering company. We provide the best quality meat and everything is made from scratch all the way down to our own barbecue sauces. All of our meats are smoked slow and low for up to 14 hours over hickory and cherry wood for maximum taste and tenderness. We also provide everything you need for your event such as plates, utensils, cutlery and chafing dishes. We provide our items at the lowest cost we can because we know how expensive catering can be. We hope to hear from you soon and help you in anyway we can.
We love seeing people enjoy our food and know that we put time into everything we make. We pay attention to the smallest details that make our food taste that much better. It's the little things that matter the most to us and we only do one job per day so we concentrate just on you during your special day.

Big Red and Angela were awesome to work with. They catered my brother’s celebration of life ceremony and I can’t say enough great things about them. They were so helpful with the menu selection and the food was outstanding, especially the brisket! If you’re thinking about booking Big Red’s BBQ for an event, do it!

So this is what it feels like to have a caring caterer who cares enough to go above & beyond. My families experience with Big Red’s BBQ was so professional, personable, kind & patient. On top of cooking & creating the various dishes, this family business handled “ALL” the big & small details like serving, supplying free utensils, napkins, plates, free sandwich buns & clean up. And the food was not only amazingly delicious, it was both moist & well seasoned. Even the special sauce was a hit! Me & my husband were the only vegans in attendance & Big Red gave us free(yep FREE)bbq jackfruit which was so so GOOD, I wish I could have taken a whole platter home. Overall every dish was made extremely well & it makes total sense why Big Red bbq has such great reviews. Also so happy there was enough food for every guest to get seconds & thirds. Thank you so much, this was the best investment ever. If you are ever in need of a caring caterer in Ohio, Big Red BBQ is the business to book!

We had Big Reds Cater our wedding this past October and they were hands down exactly what we were looking for! Delicious food, great portions, and as someone who did a very DIY wedding, what attracted us the most to them was that they handled all the serving, and provided all the plates/ silverware etc. which made it super easy for me, as the bride, to be able to enjoy my day with no worries!
Big Reds BBQ was originally setup in 1 location at the venue with really tight space, but they were able to pivot really easily and move their setup outside and work with us, and I'm so appreciative they did! Cleanup was a breeze. Through out the entire process they were so helpful and responsive, which was such a vital aspect of their services for me.
I 11/10 recommend Big Reds BBQ, they were amazing!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
are normal catering prices are pork or chicken and 2 sides for about $10 a person brisket and ribs are a little more we also do combos of different meats for around $13 a person we have many sides to choose from but many have said my mashed potatoes is the best thing they ever ate. also my candied bacon but that's another story!!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
just give me a call or email and let's go from there I have nothing to hide and love hearing from people who are interested in my food no price is firm if you want to discuss them please feel free.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm self taught and I had a great aunt who was a chef that taught me alot. I've doing BBQ competitions since I was a teenager and I just started from then I think trial by error works best. I also take every opinion to heart good or bad I like hearing people's honest opinions and critiques.
